11  Good kitty, BAD kitty...Hello Kitty! ;-) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by craftycuban on: August 28, 2009 02:41:15 PM
I just finished these about ten minutes ago! I probably should have waited for them to dry, but I'm not a very patient person!!  Tongue

I made these for my dear friend Jamie. They had faded from being washed so much so she gave them back to me so I could touch them up. Originally I had used mostly colored sharpie markers, so this time I used actual fabric paint.

I painted them on the sides of the leg bottom which is why they look all twisted

The flash makes this look washed out...bad lighting.  Undecided

here is the angel part. I think this pic came out a little better.

Thanks for looking! have a crafty day! (I'm so corny) Tongue

I almost forgot about these!  I made these for my boyfriend. He loves them and wears them all the time! I just sketched it out and outlined with a black sharpie and colored them in with colored sharpie and fabric pain. He wouldn't let me bedazzle them LOL!

They actually need to be touched up. Looking a little faded. I love painting on jeans!  Grin

Thanks for looking, have a great day!  Cheesy

This one is my favorite! I did this one for myself! I hand sketched & painted then glittered and then clear coated the whole thing. What do you think?

Me again! Here is another basket. Too much flash on this shot. It makes the colors look a little washed out but I think you get the picture..

My father in-law made me the swallows out of wood and I painted those as well...

17  hand painted hanging flower basket (a few pics) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by craftycuban on: August 22, 2009 09:40:03 AM
Hi everyone, I'm not sure i'm posting in the right category or not (I'm a newbie!)

Anywhoo, this is one of my favorite baskets. This was before I got the bright idea to bead the hanging part and ad a dangly charm to the bottom like my others but I still think it looks good. what do you think?

p.s. I used colored sharpie markers and then clear coated it!

Good morning fellow crafsters! I'm a newbie and absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this site!  Grin

Here is one (of many) of my hand painted & beaded hanging flower baskets. I have made about 10 these...

I hand sketched & painted them. Then I beaded the hanging part and added a cute dangly charm thingy...
My father inlaw made me a bunch of wood cutouts of hearts that I also painted & hung from the bottom. Cute huh....

19  Last pair of painted jeans...for now! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by craftycuban on: August 22, 2009 09:11:25 AM
I made these for the shop owner of a boutique in Ft. Lauderdale. It is a pinup pic of a mermaid riding a lobster. it is the image she uses as her store logo.

I hand sewed crystals as her necklace & bracelet. Kinda hard to tell with the reflection of the light.
Like the others, I sketched it out in pencil, outlined it with sharpie marker and filled it in with colored sharpie & fabric paint. Once dry I went crazy with the fabric glitter & bedazzled & beaded it. Hope you all like it....

sorry for not having better pics.  Undecided

20  hand painted & beaded shirt-dress made from bed sheet & black ribbon in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by craftycuban on: August 22, 2009 09:01:17 AM
I made this about a month ago. It is my second attempt at a "shirred" top. I hand painted the design at the bottom and added black sequin with small black beads and ribbon for the straps and bottom hem.  Smiley

Thanks for looking! Have a great day!
