I made this shirt for my son (2 years), to wear as he sits as the cheersquad with his daddy during ps3 sessions lol.

Done all by hand with my machine, i think it turned out pretty well.

My Little Girl has a big role to play in a few weeks!
She will Flower girl for her Nonos (Godfathers) Wedding.


Well the dress was all done and now she just needed some bling for her hair!


The bridesmaids are wearing red, so i incorporated an ivory carnation (took about 40 petals to create), ivory star Organza (from her dress) and added red netting to tie in the colour scheme.


She thinks its pretty special! and cant wait till she can wear it on the day!

I have been working on these over the past few weeks.
My adaptation of a vintage pattern i owned.

I changed the neckline and straps - so the back can be opened by 2 buttons for easy in and out!

I had a custom order for matching mother and daughter aprons.
So here are the final product. Drafted my own pattern and used a combination of vintage and designer fabrics.



hand emroidered each Initial on ( otherwise had to keep them identical to stop fights between the little kids lol).

Well i had a custom order come in  for a sz 0 fancy dress costume starting with "F"

So i created this Flower bonnet and matching Tunic

I mostly sew childrens clothing but i thought i would try for myself.
So i created these khaki stretch flares with a red waist fold over waist band.

Just to add the red a little more feature by using red stitching at the hemlines

My latest project (a custom order for a 1 year old girl).

With grey and pink pinstripe tartan , i made this tunic with tutu frill.
The little girl it is for Loves elephants so i created a motif with hot pink corduroy for the front detail.

In this pic is my son modelling (he doesnt mind i promise!)

Well I have been a little m.i.a lately!
But all for good reason - I have been working on my daughters flowergirls dress (for her godfathers wedding in july!).

I took the project on with full creative license. I drafted my pattern from stratch for the dress - using draping and pinning on my little girl (she is so patient the sweet thing!).
Before cutting out the satin and star embroided organza!


Adding satin bias for the neck and armlines. And finishing off the skirt with a rolled hem (to reduce bulk).

As it is Winter in July here - i added a little satin (fleece lined) bolero.

And a double layer tulle petticoat!

Well i loved this pattern so much i decided to make it in blue as well.
This time i used a lightweight stretch and shorted to make a shirt instead of a dress.
