1  Frames to Earring Holders - IMG heavy in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by psychobillybutterfly on: April 03, 2012 05:23:50 PM
I've seen these all over the interwebs and I needed a better way to arrange my earrings.  Basically took goodwill frames, painted bright colors and put window screening in the center and voila!

3  Hoopla + Vintage Brooches in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by psychobillybutterfly on: February 17, 2012 04:23:53 PM
I took an old embroidery hoop, sprayed it gold, then took some green and gold sari fabric I got on my trip to India and then pinned all my vintage brooches on it.  I like that they aren't lying around in some box where I can't enjoy them and it makes it easier to pick and cheese them when I want to wear them.

Close up

Sorry their so dark Sad

Ferret <3 that is both for my hair and a pin for a jacket or shirt!

A comb, sooo pretty and light!

Action Shot, don't mind my mess, I've been organzing and that seems to leave more chaos than cleanliness Sad

Did I mention that this and the ferret heart are hand embriodered?  Well they ARE!!!  And they were wrapped in the two background fabrics in purple...now what shall I do with them?

Thanks Mezcraft, I hope you get your stuff soon!

AHHH!! Package arrived yesterday but haven't had time to upload pics.

Here is the Wonderful Tshirt and Cunning Hat

I wore them both grocery shopping, I think everyone was super jealous.

Here is the rest, A Lovely Tall Card game with instructions (which were needed as I have no idea how to play), a letter from Ma Cobb and Blue Sun Tshirt care instructions

Everything was so lovely.  One friend told me I totally scored, which I think I did too.  The shirt is beautiful, glittery even! The hat fits like a dream and is so soft!  I love everything, Thanks Partner!!!

10  70s Goodwill Find to Wonderland Beauty in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by psychobillybutterfly on: July 25, 2010 07:35:27 PM
My sister-in-law made me a really nice sconce with a Victorian Lady Skeleton in the center.  I found another one at the Goodwill and decided that I'd make more of them and fill one of the walls in the living room with them.

First I painted it black with Glitter accents. I started with a picture I really loved by an artist on DeviantArt called MirrorCandle, turning it to grayscale and printing it out.

It came out like a coloring book piece which was great. So I colored it with watercolor pencils and cut it out

Then I put coffee grounds all over it, probably a little too much but I like it

And so more of the result

And in the frame
