31  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Common Ground Round 3!! S/U 3/2 - 3/21, S/O 4/13 on: April 13, 2015 01:33:19 PM
There seem to be lots of late senders. I will be too. Good news though for Smiley: My thimble broke so my quilt cannot take up more of my time that I should be crafting for her. Thursday is my new aim.

Crocheting with 6 strands at once is always fun! I really should be working more on the other swap I'm in (which I see a lot of my fellow YvS over there also) because that SO date is earlier but that would require more planning. This project is already underway! I can do this. Just need to get off the computer... move... my... butt... Ugh! This is hard!

Finally started a project today for Smiley and guess what: I finished it! Woot!

Marvelous. Looks globe like, very earthy.

Oh Belladune, that is a lovely yarn.
The spinning boards have been rather quiet for a long while. We should remedy that.

Hey guy, I bet freezing koolaid would work too, just don't let to be diluted very much. I was inspired by all these people who cover the wool in snow, sprinkle on the powdered color, and let it all melt away. Being in southern NM I can't really do that very often.

I haven't even started yet. EEK!

I think when you learn to do it "properly" you should do a NSFW one so it can be proper and Improper.
But why learn properly anyway? I've become a quilter. I don't know if I'm doing it right, but I'm doing it! As long as it looks good who cares if it is "proper?"

I recognized who it was from the thumbnail. You did a great job! How big is it?

Thanks ladies!
Barb you are too kind.
Brandy, sometimes even shopping from my stash includes using hand spun. And Lindy is a yarnie also so who knows what might sneak it's way into her package MWAHAHA.
