2581  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: No more lost rings! on: October 22, 2011 08:33:11 AM
If she were at my house, she would definitely need family of other animals, though they would never be in the same room because I do the same thing. Elephant by the kitchen sink, giraffe in the bathroom...
I really like her, is what I'm saying.

Was that soap from Jennilocker homemade? I love homemade soap. That skelly guy is too cute!

Atsuko you so god spoiled! If I were a beader I would be stalking your house right now for when yo leave, then I would go in there and revel in all of it's glory. I wouldn't steal it, but I would love it. Hm, doesn't look as squishy and cozy as my yarn stash though. But OH MY! Look at that stash you just inherited! I am squealing with delight for you.

I need to start my stocking.  How is everyone else's going?  Is this a frou-frou year or an applique/beaded/felt year, or a boot year, or what?  I kind of am leaning toward frou-frou but haven't determined yet if my partner wants frou-frou or otherwise?
I would not mind frou-frou! I also would not mind a crochet hook-roll Wink Wink, nudge nudge!

You are too cute! I wish I could get away with wearing something like this casually in public.

Ugh, I have a million ideas and I know I will be spoiling my partner, but at the same time I am really forgetful. Here is a typical thought process for me:

"I need to think of more ideas. Better ideas. GREAT ideas. I have less than two months, I have no idea what to make.....Well I already did _________ and I'm almost done a _______...THAT'S LIKE NOTHING! I suck.....Well, a _____ might be good. I'll type that on my list.....*opens swap document*....Oh, I have a huge list, almost a page of ideas...This is gonna be EASY PEASY!.....*two hours later* Crap, I need to start coming up with ideas...."

Bahahaahha I love that you have a memory like a goldfish! I'm like that too.   Embarrassed
They say goldfish have no memories
I bet their lives are just like [ours]
And that little plastic castle
is a surprise every time
and it's hard to say if [we]'re happy
but [we] don't seem much to mind!

I totally had my first question for my partner... and then I forgot what it was!

still working on Halloween, but after that then I can start thinking about this. Remember when I said I had to finish the kids' costumes before I filled out my Q? Yeah, still hasn't happened. Alice's is done, mostly, just need to add the poly-fil around the sides and buy some clothes for under the robe, but Russell's is barely started! And I forgot to get zippers for his boots when I was at Hobby Lobby this last Friday. But that's OK! Another trip to HL means I can start getting ready for my MYB! If only everything they sell wasn't made in freakin' China!
2588  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Hapy Cake Decorating Day! on: October 18, 2011 08:02:59 AM
Verdict: gluten free is kind of yucky. Good thing I had that cream cheese frosting on there to make up for it and mask the lack of decent texture. I think that's the first absolute NO we have had from a Wildtree product!
2589  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Jack Skellington, from pumpkin king to sock toy! on: October 18, 2011 07:30:39 AM
Happy, no, ecstatic recipient here!
He does rock. He rocks my socks! Well, guess they were your socks, weren't they! Now I just need to find a place to put them. That might require cleaning though, so he might have to sit on top of my fabric stash for a while first.
2590  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dessert tray, super easy to make! on: October 17, 2011 09:03:37 PM
I like the second one better. Though, I am tempted to say with some modding involved (paint? rhinestones? Other cooler ways of modding that are escaping me right now?) the first could be super awesome. They even have food safe painting supplies, if you want to spend money that is.
