Antidigger: The vessels could be a set but the first one isn't real flowers. I made them up as I went along. Maybe if I made one (or more) and put other Texas wildflowers on there that were found in my mom's yard it could be a real set. Ooh, now you're giving me ideas and inspiration. How dare you! I have enough to want to make. And besides, Mom's b-day is Friday so I don't have time to make more vessels!
Kaz: Thanks for the idea but if I punch it too much then I think it would made indentations that I'm not looking forward to. Some of the bluebonnet parts did that and the effect, while it could be cool if used correctly, might warp my final vision. On the solid balls I'm not bothered by it, I feel like it holds better, but on the vessels you can see the fibers poking through on the inside. The felting of the back idea from Belladune is an idea, but I don't know if it will hold them down as much as I want. Plus, I don't want to chance messing up and felting the front parts making it shrink and pucker. You might think that would be really hard to accomplish, but believe me, I could do it. Maybe I will just stick to fabric gluing it all down.
