EdenKitty made it on my Pinterest today. Well, one of her yarns at least.

Hey, I don't remember how many partners I signed up. I think it was 2. Hm, guess I'll get a surprise. Yay! I like surprises.

I WANT TO SQUISH THE FIRST ONE! These are great Nik. Thought it was a dime before you said it was quarter: Wow! That will make something fun.

I've been spinning this week, made a 3-ply waste yarn, but it's not ready to be shown yet. I sure am loving this bulky flyer/bobbin kit, though. It holds so much more!

Yup, I've been sharing words with my partner. I hope I didn't offend her  Shocked
Haven't done anything for it yet but we still have a month so I don't think it's a worry yet.
I did get my Phat box today, though, ooOOOoooooh!
And I have a Fiber Guild meeting tonight OOOoooOOOh!

If it's not in the cards then it's not in the cards. We understand, Kodak. Go take care of life. We'll survive until you get back, unless someone else hosts it, then I'm sure there will be another for you to join later.

Yup, nails for me. Need skinny ones, though, 'cause sometimes, usually, the hole at the top of the hoop is really small. I got lucky on that hooped doily, actually. There was already a pushpin in my wall for no known reason and I dropped the hoop on there and I think the spacing is perfect. So nails, pins... Anything pointy that goes into a wall.

ETA: Oh yeah! I am LOVING THESE WALLS! Kate, I love the Dresden Plate hoop and that Tulip hoop is one of the only tinted embroideries I've ever really liked. I remember that from a previous round. Melladh, what does "rude & not ginger" mean?

Megancrafts: Why does it have to be pre-dyed? When I was learning I found Sheep Shed Studios to be quite a great source of roving. Cheap but good quality. And if you just get the white then you can learn to dye too. Hurray food coloring, Wilton's, Kool-aid and eater-egg dye kits!

I did find some roving at the LYS that I'm working with and plan to dye, but I've realized that I don't really have an interest in learning to dye at the moment.  Maybe once I actually try it, it'll click.  Thanks for the link!
I was just browsing their site and there seem to be new things since the last time I was there! Like, they have dyed roving for $15/pound. AMAZING! I mean, the colors are all solid but they are still dyed. That price is amazing! I just got a drum carder for Cmas so I am already making plans in my head for what I am to do with my craft budget next month. I'm thinking NYLON Woot!
Wow, typing a lot today guys. Sorry.

Yeah, oddly enough I'm not very into Ravelry Huh but I do follow the Phat Fiber Blog. I've been hearing about the boxes for some time but only recently, about 2 months ago, right after the November box selling, did I find out where to go to get one. Thank you Belladune! I wanted to try last month but didn't get to it so I made sure I was up by 9 yesterday (my kids are late sleepers, be jealous) to try to get one and HOLY CRAP! Gone in seconds, literally, seconds! I was lucky I got one in the afternoon run. I set the timer for 7 minutes before sale time while my G was playing Zelda (awesome!) and when I got one I was expecting to scream but I think I was in shock so when I finished paying I was walked back over and sat on the couch. He didn't even know I had gotten one until he asked and I shrieked out a YES! Then I had to explain it to him again. then randomly through the rest of the night I would blurt out "I got a box." Obviously this was my first box. He thought it was funny. I'm totally planning on taking pictures and posting in this thread when I get them, by the way. Yes, I have no life.

Tips for people who want boxes in the future:
-Sign up now for the email! You can't get in without an email. Well, I think you can technically but you can't get the COUPONS without. And the email has all the info about when and when.
-Follow the blog. There are like 3 or 4 full sized giveaways each week. I already won! I got 4 oz of some Alpaca/Angora blends that were super amazing to spin up.

Yay other peoples hoops! I love how they fit together on walls. I love how eclectic they all are!
I notice Robin also already has a negative space hoop of her name? Oooh...

LOVE the doily!

Thanks! Me too. I think I got the idea from D*S a couple years back, maybe. Or maybe it was somewhere else. Either way, someone hada bunch of doilies and didn't know what to do with them so she made a whole hoopla wall out of doilies. I feel the same: what are you supposed to do with them? What is the point? Hoop it!
