1  After a looong love affair with Mario... in Crochet: Completed Projects by Kaylala on: September 16, 2009 10:00:59 PM
2 Weeks...150 granny squares...and a boatload of fishing line later...

I replicated the idea of another crafter... enemyairship did the 7x7 flying racoon mario...which is *amazing* to say the least! I loved it so much I had to do my own...So I created my own pattern in excel...it was my first attempt and I just kinda winged it...then I got to working on my granny squares!

I sewed them all together with fishing line because it's clear...I didn't want to stress over conrasting yarn colors...and thread wasn't going to be strong enough...In hindsight I'm sure there was a softer alternative but I'll save that for another project. For now I'm pretty happy with him. Smiley

C&C welcome!

And one with my son for size comparison...This one is only about 4x5'

Thanks for looking!
