Gorgeous! We did our own floors, too, and it's amazing how much the proper floors open up the room.  Of course, we put in 4" white oak, which was no fun.  Lesson: next time, we are going to save up to get someone else to do it for us. 

I bought a dress that had this issue, and took a piece of contrasting fabric to make a modesty panel across the middle.  It looks very much like a camisole underneath.  You could probably save this with some similar addition, maybe lace or  something like it.

So after seeing MareMare's bio, I sort of want a bacon manicure thread now.  We should make these things happen!

This is a great idea! Since I crochet, asking for a tutorial wouldn't really help, but I can see how to build it upside down, so maybe I'll whip up a few for some new babies this Christmas!
