1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / #82 Bag Lady purse from Generation T book on: May 06, 2006 06:35:22 PM
So I made this purse this afternoon from Megan Nicolay's book Generation T: 108 ways to transform a T-shirt. I didn't feel the need to line it because you are using the front and back of two t-shirts. I used two worn out Hard Rock Cafe shirts, size XL. Here's the link to the picture on my Flickr blog:
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Caressa Jacket in Get Creative Nov 05 issue on: October 03, 2005 07:43:53 PM
I'm new to the world of knitting and I want to make the caressa jacket on page 41 of the Get Creative Nov 05 "knitting issue" but i have no clue what 8 ply yarn is or what an affordable alternative to it would be. If anybody has suggestions on what to do I would truly appreciate it!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Formal Maternity Dresses on: August 30, 2005 06:46:48 PM
I have a friend who has to attend a formal military ball with her husband in November and she is expecting her first baby in January. Does anybody have any suggestions for making formal maternity wear? Most maternity dress patterns I've found look too casual and the formal maternity dresses I've found online are like $200-300 bucks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
