Make sure when you are stitching on the onesie that you have it pulled taut in your hoop. Tear-away stabilizer is your friend. It will make it a lot easier and once your done with your stitches you can tear off the stabilizer. Most people use 3 or 6 strands of the floss--it really depends on what stitch you are doing and how much you want your design to stand out.  In the Sublime Stitching section, there's a couple of members that have posted pics of onesies that they've embroidered. That might give you a better visual idea.

My first attempts to crochet were total disasters--i was anti-counting stitches and my scarves would never be a consistent width. But eventually i learned to count. I like the stitch diagrams in the Candi Jensen books--Hooked on Crochet and Candy Babies are my favorite books by her. Don't give up, crochet is really easy to rip out and start over. It also helps if you have some more experienced crochet buddies or other newbies to help you figure things out as you go. Sometimes they can spot mistakes that you don't see right off hand.

I love your Star Wars quilt and the King of the Hill pic is pretty awesome too. It inspired me to make a My Little Pony embroidered pillowcase for my cousin's daughter.

My mom went to Ireland and bought me one skein of Luxury Tweed Aran yarn in a pretty navy color and I was wondering what I could make with only one skein of it.

The specs of the yarn:
50g
50% wool
21% acrylic
20% alpaca
9% viscose

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I found mine at Wal-Mart too, only I found them  in the needlework aisle. They are called flour sack towels and they was 5 in a package for five bucks. I usually cut mine in half, if I want them to be a hand towel size. They are really soft but they are kind of stretchy so it's like embroidering on t-shirt fabric which can be tricky. Places like Hobby Lobby and Michaels usually have blank tea towels that you can buy individually or in pairs.

I am a proud owner of the Stitch-It Kit and several of the Sublime Stitching patterns. However, I am terrible at picking color combinations that will make the designs shine. Does anybody have any advice for becoming better at choosing colors?

I just wanted to say how much fun I've had participating in this swap. Special thanks to Chemama for everything she sent me. I have gotten so many compliments on the embroidered tote bag that she made me. Visitors to my house are also amazed by the vagina pillow, especially my male friends. I am definitely inspired to make more vagina related crafts.
