1  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Re: North east england anyone? on: June 12, 2011 11:42:36 AM
Lurker here  Grin  Is this thread still current?  I'm in Leeds and would love to meet up with any other Leeds craftsters (sorry rest of North East England, but I don't have a car).  Anyone interested lemme know!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Butterfly fairy on: December 09, 2009 03:49:47 PM
Beautiful.  I really liked how you backstitched over the satin stitch on the top left portion of the wing.  I'll need to try that.
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Bottle Cozy from reclaimed sweater on: November 12, 2009 03:15:15 PM
Beautiful!  This looks really professional!  I could totally see this for sale in a store.  Creative use of stitching to embellish the knit.
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: a departure from unicorns and kittens. on: October 26, 2009 01:31:46 PM
I like the orange rays, plus-metallic floss is such an enormous pain in the butt to work with, few projects actually need it so bad that you actually want to work with it.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Tinted Embroidery - We're a Pair! on: October 13, 2009 05:05:32 PM
Friggin adorable!  I'm going to go try crayon tinting RIGHT NOW!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: yo yo yo... what up? red scrap fabric Yo yo necklace on: October 13, 2009 04:48:47 PM
YOWZA!!  You got mad skilllzzzzz (in keeping with the theme of verbage in your title Grin)  I can picture it now with a plain white shirt, dark blue jeans and vintage red heels!
7  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: "I Luv Veggies' and 'Forest Friends' tote bag. on: August 30, 2009 01:31:17 PM
Definitely feel your pain with the canvas.  My fingertips on my right hand are so callused from stitching on canvas you'd think I was some crazy badass guitar player!  The sublime stitching totes are softer than the ones found at Hobby Lobby and Michaels but alas, they do tend to wear out a litter faster.  What to do, what to do?
8  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: sublime baby bibs! *edit* two more added! on: August 30, 2009 01:25:30 PM
Mmmm your stitches are beautifully neat and perfect!
