There's a lot of great stuff on this list! The floral wall clock is seriously cool too.

I love the foyer tree that coloringmyworld made! Beautiful. Beeker's gourds show a lot of patience too!

That's a great project, it looks so much better. I really like it with the extra jewels that you added to it too.

I really like the pink, black and white coiled one.

Good job! My first sewing project several years ago was a pillow too, and to be honest it was hideous... Sad So congrats on your first sewing project being such a huge success!

I think I'm going to make some new modern throw pillows soon. My old pillows are starting to look really ratty and you can buy such beautiful fabrics on etsy .com now. I really want to experiment with some of those lovely fabrics.  Cheesy

You did a great job. I'm amazed that you produced such nice pieces with so little experience. I took a pottery class years ago and I could never get the clay centered on the wheel well enough that anything turned out well. I could do "pinch pots" but that was about it. Raku glazes turned out great though.  Smiley

I love the colors on this one:

That's a cute print that you chose, I like it a lot. My first sewing project on my serger was to make pillow cases for my bed too. The cases came out great and it got me used to threading the serger which seemed pretty involved at the time. The great thing about pillowcases is that they can be made up very quickly on a serger and you can recycle other fabrics like old sheets, tablecloths or just bits of lightweight cotton that you have hanging around. It's a very simple and satisfying project. I have about 4 different sets of pillowcases now that I've made. Lots of fun.  Smiley

I've been meaning to make some storage cubes on my own and this is definitely the inspiration I need to get started. Great job!

Ditto! I have tons of cheap tablecloths I purchased for a local fund-raising dinner we had and they are a bit too tacky for anything else.

I'll try making one tonight and post a pic of my first try! Wink

Wish me Luck!

Looks absolutely beautiful!!! I wanted to do a masquerade party last year for Halloween but ran out of time. I was thinking about doing it this year. I found a really beautiful dress on one of those sites that carries adult costumes. (Not like *skanky* adult costumes just regular ones.)  I'm going to copy it and try and improve on it for next year!

Thanks for the idea!!
Cheers
