1  Re: Decked Out for Deathly Hallows Part II GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by ashley053091 on: July 20, 2011 11:16:24 PM
This is the package that I sent ecstasia.  I figured since she hasn't posted pictures I could just share mine for her  Smiley

Here is the wearable.  My take on the "always" shirt

I made the accessory a deathly hallows copper wire necklace.  First time working with it and it gives me a new respect for people who are masters at that sort of thing!

And my edible was butterbeer caramels.  There was also ton tongue toffee that was supposed to be sent but something went horribly awry with the batch so it had to be scrapped...

And of course there were some extras

This is a lumos/nox lightswitch cover straight from her wist. Both the words lumos and nox glow in the dark but I didn't get a picture of that.

and finally a Marauders map mug.

I hope she enjoyed everything!

Let me first say...I LOVE IT! Thank you so much!

Here is a group shot of what I got

The wearables

boy was I spoiled!! I love the stag patronus necklace and doe patronus earrings!  The lightning bolt was made out of polymer clay and it was her first time working with it...I would not have been able to tell by how it looked! She did a great job!

A close up of the snitch earrings. I'm wearing these now!

Nosebleed Nougats

I wish you could smell the wonderful smell that came out of these when I open them! They are delicious!!

The Snackbox

and the inside!

I can't wait to sneak all my candy into the theater!  Grin

And last but certainly not least...A Harry Potter cookbook!

I can't wait to try out this recipe!

Thank you so much! I love it all!!

5  new kicks in Shoes: Completed Projects by ashley053091 on: April 20, 2010 05:27:13 PM
Well I was at Wal-Mart and somehow wandered over to the shoe department and they were getting rid of their older style "van-alikes" for $5!!! I couldn't pass up that bargain and I bought a pair for me and my sister with the intentions of painting them but with what we hadn't decided.  This is what we came up with.

For those of you that know who Motion City Soundtrack is (and those who don't  Smiley ) here are my sisters shoes and the first shoes I attempted to paint...

and these are mine. I have a bit of a Sailor Jerry obsession so a perfect fit Tongue

they don't look the best in this picture and I should have taken the pictures BEFORE we had both been wearing them for a while but I always forget!

Thanks for looking!
C&C appreciated

7  XL T-SHIRT--->CUTE TANK TOP in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ashley053091 on: August 09, 2009 09:28:13 PM
So this is my first reconstruction.
I am a long time lurker on craftster and I had seen posts where people had forgotten to take before shots and I was like...how can you forget to take before shots?!?!

Well...let me tell you it's easy! I actually forgot to take a picture at all before I gave the girl her shirt lol

Luckily I have action shots though
----------------------------------
On to the story...My best friends sister was going to her first Jonas Brothers concert.  I asked her if she wanted me to make her a shirt...I planned to just puffy paint her one but I got on a roll with scissors and a sewing machine  Cheesy

Anyway I started with an XL Mens shirt

and  a bolt of pink gingham fabric

started cutting and sewing and added two super cute extra large buttons and some spray paint (dont diss unless you try it!) and VOILA! A cute tank top.

She had a meet and greet with honor society and they all commented on it : )
What do you think?
