1  halloween skirts in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by christina_209 on: November 06, 2009 05:15:50 PM
I made these skirts for my mom, my sister inlaw, my baby niece and myself.  They are just circle skirts but they were so fun and cute and I am very proud so here they are.  I know they are bad quality but my camera sucks  Sorry.  To start here is my baby nieces skirt.

My moms

My sister in laws and my nieces

and mine

We all wore different colored fishnets to match our skirts.  If I can get ahold of some pics from halloween I will post them too.  Please let me know what you think!!!  Oh and I made matching trick or treat bags for my boys  the link to that post is

5  Funky tank to cute "sleep wear" in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by christina_209 on: August 23, 2009 06:27:24 PM
This was one of those tanks that had the boob pads that folded everytime you washed it and were hard to get strait.  Plus Im a big enough girl and this made me look prego so I stoppd wearing it a while ago.  With all my crafting Ive been doing I wanted to do some thing with this I love the colors and pattern.  So I cut the top from the bottom, took the pads out and stiched the middle more for a little more cleavage.  With the bottom I simply cut out a panty shape but flowy and sowed together the crotch.  I didnt bother hemming the edges I wanted them to have a wave to them (plus Im not that good with the sewing machine yet and I didnt want them that funky Tongue).  So let me know what you think!!! Smiley

Know we just have to wait and see what my hubby thinks :PLOL

7  funky little shorts in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by christina_209 on: August 22, 2009 07:16:55 PM
So my grandma gave me a sewing machine and I am trying to learn but dont just want to waste things so I am trying to find things that can be used but theat we dont care about so I decided to try to make my boys shorts with an old pair of my ripped jeans.  They are quite funky but I am just trying to learn to sew and I think they will be fine for outside play or something right.  The difference in them is the belt thats how you can tell which kid it is.  Oh and sorry about the boys no bath yet after a long day of play and no shirts.  Please comments welcome  Thank You!!! Grin

8  my first try at recon shoes in Shoes: Completed Projects by christina_209 on: August 16, 2009 06:04:57 PM
So here is my first try at redoing shoes.  The pink ones were the first pair I made I still havnt decided what laces to put in them I like bright pink ones but everyone tells me is too bright.  The brown and black pair were the second pair which I made for my mom put they didnt fit here right so now they are mine and they are so comfy..  Oh and the reason I started to make these is because my feet are really fat and I am really sick of not being able to wear cute shoes Wink.  One more thing it cost me about 5 bucks for the pink pair I got an awsome deal at the thrift store( 25 cents because it had broken straps that I was going to cut off anyway) and about 8 bucks for the brown pair.  Thanks for looking and please comments welcome!!!! Tongue
