3  my new favorite dinosaur! lots 'o pics! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by OhNoJoJo on: April 25, 2014 10:35:47 AM
I have been obsessively making these dinosaur planters because dinosaurs rock. Obviously. This guy is a bit different though. He's much larger, about 6 inches tall and a foot long. Also I scored this awesome Martha Stewart Texture paint for free at Home Depot. (They were giving it away because they were no longer selling it.) The guy gave me four colors but the terra cotta is my favorite. So, this guy is painted to look like a terra cotta dino pot and filled with some awesome golden moss. Now to decide where he should go in my house...

I made a few others in new colors as well. Yay for clearance at michael's! I got a ton of paints for 25 cents each!!

Hard to tell in the pic, but the red guy has a glittery sail!!

I made a couple bookmarks!

A southwest inspired one with a reconstituted turquoise skull, tiger iron zuni bear and a swarovski crystal.

A second with a silver colored om, elephant and box charms.

Hope you like them!

5  Chains and charms bookmarks! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by OhNoJoJo on: March 27, 2014 04:06:02 PM
I hope this is the right place to post this!  Huh

Anywho, I've been working on some bookmarks! A little something different from my usual crafts.  Grin

Basically, it's a 9 inch chain with various charms on the ends instead of a regular flat rectangle bookmark. Cheesy

Turquoise howlite, hematite heart and tiger iron zuni bear
glass hearts, swarovski crystal beads, and red glass bead
blue glass beads and leaves
turquoise howlite and a bison tooth

C&C welcome!

One of my favorite things is going to the library and coming home with a bag full of books. It's even better when it's a cute bag!

Here are a few I whipped up. A fun Halloween color bag, a pink and green theme and cupcakes!!
