I just had to show off the newest Cloth diaper I've made.

I found the Plaid PUL then upon getting it it hit me that I should make this.

Straps are removable and its fully water proof.



the diaper its self is a AI2 style diaper with snap in inserts and Poly fleece lining to help prevent wicking.

I'm on a roll this week, this is the second bag I've made and I'm currently working on crib bedding. This is going to be my Daughter's Diaper bag. I used the same pattern as my Owl bag but I did make some tweaks. Mostly minor little things. I do plan on adding a shoulder strap but I can't find the d-rings I bought.... I think a cat ran off with them..

The fabric is the Robert Kaufman Horror Monster Movie fabric. It's discontinued but can be found online. I wanted to pair it with a pink coordinate fabric but decided to make it Daddy appropriate too.

Its 13" tall and 15" deep. with 8 elasticized pocket total.

I'm currently working on my own diaper bag but wanted to make a test run of my design so I could see if it would turn out. I'm super thrilled with how this one came out.

Since I found out that I'm having a little girl here in oh about 2 months or so I decided she needs some rockin little dresses. So heres the first dress so far. Just need to convince the Husband to let me buy more fabric for her...

I made the pattern for the dress myself and I also have a matching diaper cover that I haven't finished yet.

I don't usually crochet, I know how to and would love to do more but to me sewing comes a little more naturally. Now my daughter is due in about 3 months and I got the idea she needs hats, although I live in Florida and our "winter" is more like fall and will be over by then.



The Green and Black beanie is from a basic baby beanie pattern I found on Raverly.

The Pink one I made the pattern my self and it can be found on my blog.

I'm very proud of this very simple little hats. They each only took about 2 hours to crochet up.

I didnt know where else to put this, I view it as House wares as its hanging on the Bedroom door... But if its in the wrong place I'm sure I'll be told and it will be moved.

I'm currently pregnant (due the 29th of March.) and I've decide after much though and consideration that I am going to make most of the things for the nursery. I'm a bit of an Odd Ball and normal cutesy baby things just repulse me and the hubs. We've decided that we want a color theme of lime green and black (because its neutral, and we wont find out what we're having for another week and a half) and we're adding some minor Gothic (NOT MACABRE in any way, ) touches, spiders, Skulls, Bats and what have you. This is just the first completed project on my long ever growing list ( should probably stay off the forums) And the tutorial for it can be found in my blog, its super easy and adaptable...

This design had been floating around in my head for awhile now and it all came together when I found this lovely fabric. I'm calling it Zebra but it could be Tiger.... IDK. This one is much larger than my other ones (that I working on a tute for, I swear.) Dimensions are approx: 15" tall by 17" length......

the shoulder strap is non-detachable and it has a magnetic snap closer. 

In typical S.B fashion the lining is pink cotton and black Twill and it has 3 pockets inside.
the outside is Faux Suede and zebra/tiger print flock home decor fabric. its almost like flocked taffeta...

So I'm pregnant, and I've taken to calling the baby Venom because its a symbiont. I found this pattern http://thismamamakesstuff.com/2009/10/making-stuff-ramones-baby-gown/.

I wanted to test out the pattern and see if I like it. But I didnt have a tee that I was willing to use.

The patter is really easy.

this is made from some jersey from my stash. the Venom logo was painted on with a freezer paper stencil
