I just used regular white cake mix and a hell of a lot of gel food coloring. Super easy, actually. Although, my arm was sore from all of the stirring. @_@ ignore the crap icing work. it was cream cheese icing. but haha I'm no icing expert. and the purple turned out greyish :/
