My mom gave me these huge polyester skirts that her mom had in the sixties. I had no idea what to do with them until this morning when I just ripped one seam out, turned it diagonal-like and sewed it. It turned them into these Shocked :

2  Shrug(and tutu) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LeahLollipop on: January 01, 2010 01:17:26 AM
So I have this top I made from a huge t-shirt. Problem is: A, the straps make it against dress code at my school. and B, I had some fabric left over from the shirt. So I made this matching shrug today, in the photos I'm wearing the top it goes with. I'm pretty sure anyone else would have done this a billion times easier(and better), but it took me forever, and I got so frustrated, but I got it done, and I like it.

What do you think?

I made the tutu this morning, cuz I was bored:)
