1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Beer Soap..just dont drink it :( on: February 01, 2010 02:12:52 PM
Awesome job!  I'd love to make some for my hubby ... but since he's such a huge beer snob fan I think he might beat me with it first. XD  I can hear him now "What a waste of good beer"  Roll Eyes
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: chicken viking hat! (pattern too) on: November 25, 2009 11:30:32 AM
LOVE IT!  Priceless.  Seriously and thanks so much for the pattern link! <3  I'm most definitely going to give it a try...I want to see someone wearing it. ;3
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Sackboy for my hubby! on: November 25, 2009 11:26:14 AM
Dare I say "Luckiest Husband Evar?"   Grin  Beautiful job!  I've been dying to make my own Sackboy but I fear I don't have the skills.  Until then I shall admire your talent~
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Chain Chomp Hat (pics and pattern!) on: November 25, 2009 11:14:45 AM
I'm in love with this hat!  I'm also in desperate want with it too!  I shall definitely be giving this a try sometime.  :3 *off to the store* <3
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: How did you get started? on: November 25, 2009 11:05:19 AM
I got a really craft-itch last year so for that Christmas my dad bought me a knitting kit.  I started it and was having a hell of a time getting it started but then my mom got me going on it.  I'm still really bad at it sadly.  I really want to give it another go and be a much better knitter in the end. *crack the knitting whip*  I think that'll be my New Year's Resolution - finish a knitting project!
6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: Lost on Brother-in-Law (Christmas Gift) on: November 25, 2009 10:34:23 AM
Actually that's a pretty good idea!  Maybe I should look into Nerf style guns or something.  I've been looking around places like perpetualkid.com and places like that for good ideas.

Thanks~  I'll keep something like that in mind on my hunt. :3
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Lost on Brother-in-Law (Christmas Gift) on: November 23, 2009 02:01:07 PM
So I'm all planned out and getting my Christmas Crafts rolling.  The only person my husband and I can't get a good idea for is his brother.  (Seriously, he has no idea either).  I'm open to crafting, purchasing...wishin g hard for it to appear?  My crafting skills are mainly sewing.  I'm in process of learning to knit.  Horrible at painting/drawing/things like that. D:

So the stats:
Male (obviously)
25
Still lives with his parents  (so don't really need any decorative stuff)
LIKES:
 - Nascar
 - the internet (seriously, he's always on it...he plays MMORPGS A LOT)
 - LARP (Live Action Role Play) @_@;
 - Football
 - Generic guy stuff

I think the saddest part of all of this is that my husband and I have been together for 5 years and I still have no idea what his brother likes.

Any suggestions?  Help?
8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Busytown Birthday on: November 10, 2009 10:25:38 AM
Aw that is freaking awesome! <3

I adored Busytown when I was growing up (secretly --and not so secretly)  I still love it.

I'm sure that must have been one of the best Birthdays ever. :3
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Making fashionable clothes - any free tutorials/patterns?! on: August 04, 2009 03:34:37 PM
I normally go to Hancock Fabrics.  I find that they have better prices than JoAnns and basically every (other) weekend the bulk of their fabric is 1/2 off.  Not to mention you can sometimes get $.99 patterns.

Hopefully there's one near you. :3
