11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / I learned something new... on: January 09, 2005 09:06:47 PM
With the help of others from my previous post. I used a link that someone replied to my last post.... http://www.knotingwork.com. It was very helpful. And I made a new creation using one of the diagrams. I think it turned out pretty good. It took me like an hour to do it because I kept messing up at first because I am so used to just doing a regular square knot. But I think it turned out great.

If you click view image for each one you can see them a lot better.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Cute hemp woven necklaces! on: January 06, 2005 09:54:49 PM
These are some more of the hemp necklaces I have made. I like to try to find as unique of beads that I can. People always ask me where I got it and then I tell them I made it and they are surprised. Even though these aren't that hard to make. I am looking to try and find harder techniques. Anyone know of any?

I try have fun with it. I went to the craft store after work today and bought new beads. I got so excited that I made two new necklaces. The fishy one and the chinese symbol one for my boyfriend. The  neckalces I make for myself never seem to really go with anything I wear. Although, the new fish necklace I just made tonight will go great with my work uniform! I work at a Petsmart and our shirts are green!   Grin

These are just some pictures of the necklaces that I have made....I have even sold a few of these as well. I like to find individual beads that you can't get at your local craft store. There is a really cool store out here that has the most awesome beads.
