1  Re: One Tiny Stuffie Round 2 Gallery!! in The Swap Gallery by KiwiDragons on: January 27, 2011 03:18:33 PM

Here is the fabulously tiny little dragon that tapestrymlp made for me. He's so small and so cute!!!! It's funny - I sent her a dragon and she sent me a dragon. A perfect match! Smiley Thanks again Jenn, he's perfect.

2  Pop Up Ad in Latest News by KiwiDragons on: May 15, 2010 11:41:55 AM
I thought there was a board to complain about ads, but I can't seem to find it right now - I thought I had it bookmarked, but I must be mistaken. I was browsing random boards when I went to look at the Glee Swap thread and I got a pop up ad. It didn't cause me any trouble, but I just thought I would mention it because I know how much pop ups are hated.

When I came home for lunch today I saw that I had a package waiting for me and it was Zazie returning home from her visit with Slingmomma. Here are some photos of the awesome goodies she brought home with her.

The whole kit n caboodle (is that right?).

Zazie's host "grandma" made the stocking her host "aunt" made the dishcloth. The soaps come from a farmer's market and there is some yummy candy and candles.

Host "mom" made this pin for selling at a craft show! It's so cool, but it's hard to tell due to my "stellar" photography.

The scrapbook is something else! It really is a scrap book, made from fabric! There are some really cool embellishments too.

The last page of the scrapbook not only has an adorable kitty on it, but a cute pocket with all the descriptions of the pictures in it.

Thank you so much again!! It looks like Zazie had a fabulous time with you and honestly, I think she's a little bummed to be home.

OH - P.S. Not pictured is a bottle of maple syrup! YUMMMMMM!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

5  Re: Linguine dollydolls *Patterns added on page 7* in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by KiwiDragons on: January 30, 2010 07:41:02 PM
I finished my first doll with your pattern! It was a lot of fun. I had such a hard time with the face- I think I ripped it out at least 5 times.  I finally stitched a face that I was somewhat happy with.  That is something I will have to work on.  Anyways, I am now going to make the little bear to go with it.  I tried to post a picture, but I was unable to.  Maybe you could click on my name and find it.

Here it is!

6  Cat Litter Cabinet and Feeding Station in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by KiwiDragons on: December 27, 2009 12:51:33 PM
First I want to point out that my inspiration for this project came from this post here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=291147.0 - Thank you very much!

I went to a resale store where leftover construction stuff is sold for cheap and I got this double cabinet and a piece of counter top for $50. The counter top is too big (as you can see), but being lazy and not very construction savvy, I just left it and I use the overhang for storage of food, litter, an carrying cases for kitties. Inside there is 2 large litter pans and a hole was cut out of the back for easy access. The hole that you can see in the front at the bottom was already there - part of the reason it was in that store to begin with. I am thinking of making a little "skirt" or something to hide it, but I'm not sure if that would just collect more cat hair and look bad or not.

And the picture!

I don't know why the thumbnail isn't working. I couldn't use Craftster photo hosting because it's not letting me upload anything at the moment. I'll try it again a little later on.
Nevermind! Fixed it.

I'm glad you like her! I thought a tea cup would be something fun to do. And actually a cup of tea does sound fabulous right now-it's so cold and rainy outside.

I have a close up of her face here-it was hard to get a good picture of it-I wanted her face to kind of blend in-like it was a part of the tea.
