Hey! I am looking into buying a Athena adjustable dress form.  I was wondering if anyone has experience with one and what they think of it?

Well I made a pattern for this, but I will try to draw up a little tute for the sleeves sometime this week!

Very nice! How did you do the sleeves? I tried those type of sleeves, and they came out horrible  Roll Eyes

I actually cut off the original sleeves from the shirt and then I cut a curve into the part that I was going to attach to the armhole. This makes is flounce out because you have to straighten the curve when you put it to the armhole.

Ahhh, I am sorry if that didn't make sense!
If you need more clarification just tell me and I will try again lol!

Wow, I am overwhelmed by all your super nice comments.  Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
Its gorgeous. I bookmarked your store as everything there is so lovely.
Thannks! Hopefully I will be adding a top tomorrow!
That is a really sweet dress! Congrats on figuring out the bias strip!! Isn't it ridiculously easy?
It is a lot easier than the first time I did it.  But then I was doing it on a v-neck and still don't think it looks that great.

Bonjour again! I made a dress out of a tee!  I got the top at Savers and it was brand new! I didn't exactly reconstruct it, just used it more like fabric.
