Sounds good. I wonder if that maranade would work for a recipe I have where you crisp the skin in a skillet first before roasting it in the oven. My worry would be the sugars in the orange would burn.
this looks really cool. Love to try it with my lilacs in the summer. This may seem like a silly question but do start off with dry petals or fresh ones?
I know that there are some cool, funky neighborhoods in the area near University of Pittsburg where you could probably find some stores selling handmade goods but I'm not sure about crafty places persay. I would also recommend taking a ride on the cog train. The views are wonderful. Don't bother with downtown, its not that touristy.
I shredded some paper to make my own and placed it in water according to some instructions I found online. Well..... It taken me some time to collect my other supplies ( primarily a cheap working blender that I can devote to the project) and now the watery paper has turned brown. My first thought is that this might lend a kinda cool antiqued look to the paper, but I am not sure if it can still be used. Thoughs?
I had an idea this morning to make ornaments of nylon wire wrapped around sodering wire and placed across the interior free space with beads strung on it. The best way to describe them is that they would look sort of like a tree shaped abacus. This is the first time that I have tried to make something without a pattern and I am not sure how to figure out how much wire I would need. Any help would be appreciated, even if its a link to a thread on this topic that I missed in my search.
