1  Slips for my friend in Knitting: Completed Projects by neverenoughcoffee on: July 30, 2009 08:32:59 AM
A pair of slippers I made for a friend at work. She liked the color.
Hold up. apparently I have to post ten times in the forum before I can upload photos. Meh. I just wanted to show the slippers. Ok...I shall return.
Dun, dun, dun! Sorry for the wait. They're good, I promise. I made them according to my grandma's pattern, which most likely anyone can figure out by looking once I do some posting.
Sorry!
Cyn

Okay! We're in business! This was my attempt at playing with cables.
This piece was knit flattish. Well, flat, with  short row shaping for the heels and toes and two dpns to hold the active stitches from the srs.

Please excuse the fishnets. They match the coffee shop uniform shirt and I hadn't shaved. Meh. They were made for smaller feet than my own.

Yes, I know they're sideways. My phone is a little weird. Hold it upright to get a sideways pic.
Ok. That's my project! They took about six hours ish to knit with 4 3.75mm dpn and Red Heart Super Saver in Mint!
