This is a really easy and fun project to make as a "Mommy and Me" craft.  Your little one can easily make the puppet up while all you need to do is a few simple stitches on the sewing machine to create a wonderful one-of-a-kind present for Dad!

Here is how to make it:
Required Supplies:
Scissors
Sewing Machine
Pins
Sock
Quick Dry Craft Glue
1 Puppet
1 Pack of1" Stick-It Felt Letters & Numbers


Instructions:
1) Cut the foot portion of your cok off, leaving the "tube" portion and ~1" of the bottom portion of the sock.


2) Cut 1" slits on the right and left sides of the top part of the sock.


3) Pin one side of the sock to one puppet body piece. Sew into place with a 5/8" seam.


4) Pin the other side of the sock to the other puppet body piece. Sew into place with a 5/8" seam.

5) Stitch up puppet body with included string and safety needle in puppet kit.

6) Glue on puppet detail features as indicated by the picture of puppet that you are making.

7) Using your 1" Stick-It Felt Numbers, place the number of the golf club on the back side of the puppet body.

     TIP: We recommend using a "wider" (ie: Frog or Monkey) head puppet
     for any woods and "narrower" (ie: Giraffe) head puppet for irons.

1 12 x 18 White EZ Felt Sheet
1 12 x 18 Red EZ Felt Sheet
1 9 x 12 Royal Blue Stick-It Felt Sheet

Instructions:
1) Using your flag template and your ruler, cut out the following pieces from your felt sheets:
     Royal Blue Stick-It Felt:
         7.5" x 6" Square

     Red EZ Felt:
         8 Stripes that measure 7/8" x 18"
             You will use 7 on your flag, We recommend creating
             8 so you can use one as a space while placing your
             stripes on your flag.

2) Using your felt glue, glue the top and bottom most stripes onto your flag.

3) Place your spacer strip underneath the top stripe. Place the next stripe underneath the spacer. Glue in place.

4) Remove spacer and repeat Step 3 working from the bottom stripe up.

5) Continue alternating top and bottom stripes working into the middle.

6) Once all seven stripes have been added, let glue set for a minute.

7) While your glue is drying, add your stars to the royal blue rectangle.

Peel off adhesive-backing from rectangle and place in upper left hand corner of flag.

I just made this for my Mother-in-Law for my wedding and she got a big kick out of it.  It is a cute way to jazz up a gift card to the spa or to get a mani-pedi!

SPA SLIPPERS AND MASK
Required Supplies:
Scissors
18" 1/8" Elastic Cording
Single Hole Punch
2 9 x 12 Stick-It Felt Sheets
2 9 x 12 Soft Felt Sheets

Instructions:
1) Cut out Sleep Mask and Slippers from the Spa Kit Template.

2) Remove adhesive-backing on Stick-It Felt Sheets and adhere to Soft Felt Sheets.

3) For each piece 9 x 12 Sheet, cut out one of each of the below shapes:
    Right Foot
    Left Foot
    Mask
       Don't forget to mark your hole punch location.
    TIP: The slippers should fit easily on a single 9 x 12 sheet of felt.

4) Punch holes in sleep mask where previously marked. Attach elastic and size to fit. Tie knot on ends.

5) To finish the slippers:
    Bring back "U" piece to front near toes.
   

    Take middle section from front and slide into crease on "U" section.

GIFT CARD HOLDER

3/8" Wide Fusible Webbing

Instructions:
Optional: You can replace glue in this craft with fusible webbing. Follow application instructions on the package to ensure proper adhesion.

1) Using the Gift Card Envelope Template, cut out the rectangle from your 9 x 12 Soft Felt Sheet.

2) Apply a thin line of glue on the sides on the long end of your rectangle. Fold over.


    TIP: Use a heavy book to help keep in place while glue is drying.

3) Apply a thin line of glue on ONE side of the shorter end of the rectangle. Fold over. This is the "top" of your gift card holder.

4) Center a 10" length of ribbon lengthwise on your Felt Rectangle. Leave a 1" overhang on each side. Glue into place.


5) Glue overhangs of ribbon to inside of Gift Card Holder.


6) Fold up 1 1/2" from the bottom (having ribbon on outside) to form a pocket. Glue the sides into place.


7) Fold the top down so there is a 1/2" overlap between top and bottom.

Use remaining ribbon to tie a bow and glue to top of holder.


9) Apply square of hook and loop fastener to keep contents secure.

Instructions:
APPLE:
1) Using the apple, stem, and apple leaf template pieces,cut out the following felt pieces:
     9 x 12 Red Soft Felt Sheet:
          2 Apple Pieces

     9 x 12 Cocoa Soft Felt Sheet:
          1 Apple Stem

     9 x 12 Pirate Soft Felt Sheet:
          1 Apple Leaf

2) Place an outline of glue on one of your apple pieces, leaving a 3" gap on the top. You will stuff the apple though this spot when the glue dries.


3) Place other apple piece on top of glue piece. Let dry according to glue instructions.

4) While apple piece is drying, roll the rectangle for the stem into a cylinder. Place a dab of glue on edge to keep in place.


5) Once apple has dried, use fiber filling to stuff apple to your liking.

6) Place glue on openings and place stem in the middle. Secure in place with tape while glue dries.


7) Glue apple leaf in desired location.



ORANGE:
1) Using the orange and orange leaf template pieces,cut out the following felt pieces:
     9 x 12 Tangerine Soft Felt Sheet:
         2 Orange Pieces

     9 x 12 Pirate Soft Felt Sheet:
         2 Orange Leaves

2) Place an outline of glue on one of your orange pieces, leaving a 3" gap on the top. You will stuff the orange though this spot when the glue dries.


3) Place other orange piece on top of glued piece. Let dry according to glue instructions.

4) Once orange has dried, use fiber filling to stuff the orange to your liking.

5) Place glue on openings and close up orange. Secure into place with tape while glue dries.


6) Glue orange leaves in desired location.



BANANA:
1) Using the banana template pieces,cut out the following felt pieces:
     9 x 12 Yellow Soft Felt Sheet:
         2 Banana Pieces

2) Place an outline of glue on one of your banana pieces, leaving a 3" gap on the top. You will stuff the banana though this spot when the glue dries.


3) Place other banana piece on top of glued piece. Let dry according to glue instructions.

4) Once banana has dried, use fiber filling to stuff the banana to your liking.

5) Place glue on openings and close up banana. Secure into place with tape while glue dries.




LIME:
1) Using the lime template pieces,cut out the following felt pieces:
     9 x 12 Pirate Soft Felt Sheet:
         2 Lime Pieces

2) Place an outline of glue on one of your lime pieces, leaving a 3" gap on the top. You will stuff the lime though this spot when the glue dries.


3) Place other lime piece on top of glued piece. Let dry according to glue instructions.

4) Once lime has dried, use fiber filling to stuff the lime to your liking.

5) Place glue on openings and close up lime. Secure into place with tape while glue dries.




JUICE/MILK CARTON:
1) Using the carton template piece,cut out the carton shape from your EZ Felt sheet.

2) Keep the template piece on top of your cut out shape and fold along the dotted lines.


3) Using glue, glue side seams together. Use tape to hold into place while glue dries.


4) Glue bottom together using glue. Use tape to hold into place.

5) Glue the top shut with your glue. We suggest using paper clips to keep in place while drying.


6) Decorate the front with Stick-It Felt Squares to indicate what kind of juice it is.



CEREAL BOX:
1) Using the cereal box template piece,cut out the box shape from your EZ Felt sheet.

2) Keep the template piece on top of your cut out shape and fold along the dotted lines.


3) Using glue, glue side seams together. Use tape to hold into place while glue dries.


4) Glue the top and bototm together using glue. Use tape to hold into place.

5) Decorate the front with Stick-It Felt Squares and 1" Letters & Numbers to indicate what kind of item is in there.

Your pencil will create quite a buzz with this Felt Bee Pencil Topper. It is a but tricky for those under four but it is a whole lot of fun to make!

Here is how to make it:

Required Supplies:

Fabric Glue
3 9 x 12 Soft Felt Sheets (3 Different Colors)
2 Chenille Stems

Instructions:
1) Cut out 2 Wings, 1 Body, 1 Head and 2 Stripes from 9 x 12 Sheets of Soft Felt. You can follow our colors or create your own personalized look.

2) Using the fabric glue, glue the pieces in place.


3) To make your antenna, cut a 3" piece off of your Chenille Stem. Fold in half and glue behind your bee's head.


4) Glue your other chenille stem to the back of your bee.

5) Let dry. Curl chenille stem around your pencil.

Cow:


Required Supplies:
Scissors
Quick Dry Craft Glue
Paintbrush
Paint (Black & White)
Powder Blush
Cotton Swab
1 1 1/2" Unfinished Wood Ball
1 7/8" Opening Candle Cup
1 9 x 12 White Soft Felt Sheet

Instructions:
1) Paint ball and candle cup white. Let dry.

2) Glue ball in the hole of the candle cup with quick dry craft glue. Let dry.

3) Paint black area of the cow's nose and add spots to your liking. Let dry.

4) Add two dots above nose for eyes.

5) Blush cheeks using a cotton swab and powder blush.

6) Using white paint, add white nose holes to the cow's nose and dot cheeks.

7)Using thecow template,cut out 2 ears and 1 set of horns for your cow out of white soft felt.

Using a cotton swab and pwder blush, add some blush to the inside of the ear pieces.

9) Glue horns to the center of cow's head.

10) Glue ears to sides of horns.




Pig:


Required Supplies:
Scissors
Quick Dry Craft Glue
Paintbrush
Paint (Pink)
Small Pink Button
Fine Point Black Marker
1 1 1/2" Unfinished Wood Doll Head/Knob
1 1" Unfinished Wood Circle
2 5/8" Mini Flower Pots

Instructions:
1) Paint Doll Head/Knob, Circle, and Mini Flower Pots pink. Let dry.

2) Glue Mini Flower Pots to bottom of Doll Head/Knob. Let dry.

3) Glue small pink button onto 1" Circle.

4) Using black marker, draw two eyes and a smile on your Pig's face.

5) Cut two small triangle ears and glue to back of 1" Circle.

6) Glue head to the front of the pig.

7) Draw a curly tail on the back of the body with your black marker.




Froggie:


Required Supplies:
Quick Dry Craft Glue
Paintbrush
Paint (Light Green, Dark Green, & White)
Fine Point Black Marker
Powder Blush
Cotton Swab
1 1" Unfinished Wood Doll Head/Knob
1 3/4" Unfinished Wood Spool
2 3/4" Unfinished Wood Stars


Instructions:
1) Paint Stars, Doll Head/Knob, and Spool light green. Let dry.

2) Glue Doll Head to one end of Spool. Glue stars to front of spool for feet. Let dry.

3) Use the dark green paint to paint dots on your froggie's feet and each side of his head.

4) Use the dark green paint to paint two lines to represent your froggie's legs.

5) Paint two white dots for eyes. Let dry.

6) Use your black fine point marker to make the rest of the eye detail.

7) Blush cheeks using a cotton swab and powder blush.

8)Add smile with black fine point marker.

9) Add a dot of white paint to each cheek. Let dry.




Silly Red Ant:


Required Supplies:
Quick Dry Craft Glue
Paintbrush
Paint (Red & White)
Fine Point Black Marker
Powder Blush
Cotton Swab
Red Pipe Cleaner
Scissors
Ruler
3 3/4" Unfinished Wood Beads


Instructions:
1) Paint your beads with red paint. Let dry.

2) Cut a 3" piece of pipe cleaner.

3) Place a bead of glue on each side of each bead.

4) String your beads onto the pipe cleaner. Leave about 1" piece at the other end. You will use this for your antenna.

5) Cut a 1 3/4" piece of your pipe cleaner. Place a piece of glue at the top of the bead where the other antenna is. Thread pipe cleaner through hole.

6) Curl both ends of pipe cleaner to make antenna.

7) Cut 3 sections of pipe cleaner that are 2 1/2" long.

Bend each section in the center. These create your ant legs.

9) Place beads of glue in between beads. Place legs between beads.

10) Blush cheecks using a cotton swab and powder blush.

11) Add white dots to cheeks.

12) Add eyes and mouth with black fine point marker.

That is such a great idea!  I love it

Instructions:
1) Cut out your pieces from the squirrel and acorn game template as follows:
     Cocoa EZ Felt:
         2 Each of Squirrel Body Bases
         2 Each of Squirrel Faces

     Cocoa Soft Felt:
         4 Each of Squirrel Ears
         2 Each of Squirrel Tails
         2 Each of Acorn Top

     Black Soft Felt:
         2 Each of Squirrel Noses

     Yellow Soft Felt:
         2 Each of Acorn Bottom

2) Assemble Squirrel Faces:
     Glue 2 Google Eyes, 2 Ears, and 1 Nose to each Squirrel Face.
    

3) Apply a thin line of glue on back of your Squirrel faces. Start below the ears and make sure to mirror the shape of the body.


4) Place Squirrel Face onto Squirrel Body.

5) Glue Squirrel Tail to back of the Squirrel Body.


6) Cut 2 4 1/4" strips from your elastic. Apply a strip of glue to the 3/4" width sides and glue this beneath your face piece. You will slip your hand through this to play.


7) Place 4" x 2" Hook Side Fastener on the "belly" of your squirrel.


Assemble Acorn Piece:
     Glue tops of Acorns to bottoms of Acorns.
     Cut up excess felt to stuff your acorn with.
     Glue one side of acorn around outline and place stuffing in the middle.
     Place other acorn piece on top. Let dry.

These take a little extra time and patience than the other felt flower pins, but they are just as lovely!

Pinking Shears



Instructions:
1) Cut out pieces from rose or carnation fun button template. Cut the following pieces from felt:

     Pirate Soft Felt:
         3 Leaves
         Optional: To create the carnation, use your pinking shears on the edge of the
         leaves.

     Soft Felt Sheet (any color):
         6 Large Circles
         1 Small Circle

2) Sew agathering stitchin a circle pattern in the center of each large circle about 1/3 up from the center. Pull the thread tight and knot off the end of the thread.



3) Sew the 6 gathered flowers together from the bottom of the petals. Pull the thread tight to gather the petals in a very tight circle. Knot off the thread.

4) Glue the three leaves to the bottom of the petals in an off center manner. Let dry.

5) Glue the small circle to the bottom of the petals and leavves. Let dry.

6) Glue finished flower to the front of the Fun Button. Let dry.
