1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / ??? Covering graffiti ??? on: May 01, 2006 07:21:04 PM
My brother just got his first place for really cheap and we just figured out why. The walls are completely covered in graffiti. It looks like he's living under a birdge.

Does anyone know an effective way of covering graffiti or maybe of a very thick paint or primer?

We tried normal primer and that did nothing. After three coats, we can still see every detail.

We are officially stumped. Please help.

3  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Apple Eating Contest on: October 03, 2005 04:58:54 PM
I have these two friends who had an apple eating contest the other night. I told them that whoever won, I would make them a tshirt but they tied. Now, I need to come up with a witty saying for both of them and I can't think of anything.

Is there anyone who can think of something clever?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / A suit-like prom dress..? on: May 28, 2005 01:55:43 AM
Well, I thought I'd be a little different and make my dress out of grey pin-striped suiting material. I'm not one for shiny, glittery things...so, I kept it simple. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

Second from left.

This one shows the pin-stripe a bit better. It's pretty light though.
5  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / flower design for a prom dress? on: May 08, 2005 10:37:43 AM
This year, my prom dress in very plain and I was thinking of putting some bead embroidered flowers at the bottom of my dress. The thing is that I can't find a good design for some really neat flowers.

Anyone know of some good websites or books that I could take a look at?
Thanks!

so, i've decided that this summer i'm going to only wear skirts. problem is that i hate shaving my legs and i have verrry dark leg hair.  i know i could always just wax but i did that and the hair grew back a week later and darker...so..would it be possible to lighten the hair with like lemon juice or sun in or something? would that work?
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / The last 1/3 of my Christmas gifts on: January 12, 2005 01:03:06 PM
i posted a while ago with the first 2/3 of my Christmas gifts for my friends.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=20853.0

this is the last one. i know its a little late but oh well. i finished it about an hour ago.
i hand did the detail in the gun and touched up the lettering because it smeared some. sometimes i hate layering stencils more than anything.

well, i hope you like!!
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / 2 out of 3 Christmas gifts on: December 27, 2004 12:13:20 PM
I made the T-shirt for my friend, Liam, who is in a band called Shoot To Ill. So, I thought this would be more than appropiate. I made another Shoot To Ill shirt for another band member but that one is in the process of being made.

I made the purse for my friend, Hannah, because Sally the Camel is her favorite song.

Hope you kids enjoy them!
