here's a project dear to my addled brain. i've been working on it on & off for two weeks. it's a knit & feltted peanut! why? becuase im a nut! i used patton's SWS (70% wool 30% soy) and made it up as i went, and didnt write anything down. here it is posing in a kitchen still life.
im looking to do papeir mach with my kiddos, age 7, and 4 but i dont want to do the tried and true balloon any other ideas for a frame? im going to check out the local Arts & craft store to see if the have any wire animals or such but in the meantime i thought i'd ask here. TIA
yeah- i guess that way i could also try it on everytime i show it someone all squished on my 16 inch circ's they ask if its a baby sweater!! i'm getting scared it wont fit and im should to have it ready to wear by 1 on sunday. i wonder if these male painters knew how to knit thank you for your help
i have this vintage dress of my mother's. it was her graduation dress (early 60's). at one point my older sister added a product called "baubles" to the bust that left a residue. i thought of covering it with those swarowski crystals not exactly my syle but it would work!). another other ideas? plus the whole whole dress needs to be cleaned, should i just wash it by hand sent it to a cleaner? it feels silky but i dont know the fabric and it was custom made with no tag. and what about this fold? maybe there was a a ribbon from the bow? i'd love other input!! on the 15th there's a fudraiser called "the prom for all" and i was hoping to wear it,
i asked my 6 yr old son and he said below the elbow so people can see it ok now im sure im straying from the topic so if this gets pulled i understand, but do you ever want to be the person with the tattoo? maybe grow into it?
