1  Skirt that I made... (Img Heavy) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by meganchristine504 on: March 02, 2010 03:17:51 PM
This is a skirt that I made. I used a pattern that I had for the waistband, and made the bottom of the skirt on my own. It's too bad it turned out a little small on me. I'm just glad it turned out so cute! I had gotten the fabric out of the remnants box at Joann's and for a second I thought I wasn't going to have enough, but it all worked out.

The zipper and clasp.

My first time trying this sort of hem. I really like how it turned out.

Special thanks to my little sis for modeling for me! <3

Thanks for looking!! C&C welcome!!

2  Button collection turned into magnets in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by meganchristine504 on: January 08, 2010 03:00:59 PM
So I had this collection of pins that had been hanging up on my wall for the longest time. I'd been wanting to do something with them to display them a little nicer, but never got around to it.. So the other day I came up with the idea to turn them into magnets, since I never wear them. Here's the before & after:

Here's when they were hanging on a ribbon by my door. My dog was sitting there while I was taking a picture of it so I got her in there too. Tongue

Here they are as magnets. The picture frames were made by my aunt, by the way.. aren't they adorable?

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think. =]

3  Adorable pink earrings & rose ring in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by meganchristine504 on: January 08, 2010 02:47:22 PM
So I had this bag of trinkets I had been meaning to turn into jewelry & finally got around to making them the other day, so here they are:

For this pair, I used hearts for the studs.

And for these, I used flowers for the studs.. Let me know which ones you like best!

And here is the rose ring I made also.. I didn't make the rose part by hand, but I plan on making a mold of it so I can have them in different colors.

Hope you like them and thanks for looking! Comments and criticism are welcome!
