I will totally be making some of these in the next few days... the only eyemask I own pinches my eyes!
42  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: first post :) on: September 01, 2009 09:46:20 AM
Ooh I disagree, I think that the purple collared dress looks awesome all in one shade Smiley  And the colour itself is just delicious... Grin  Black and white might be an interesting combo, were you thinking white for the front or the back or both?  Maybe having the main panel on the front white and the back main panel black would be cool, kinda moddish...
43  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Dang you H&M with your cute prints... on: September 01, 2009 08:46:25 AM
Oh God, H&M are awful for everything but bras when it comes to fit (with me at least!).  The new top looks awesome though, well done.  If you want something done properly, y'gotta do it yourself!  Grin

Very niiice!  I especially love the high-waisted skirt, I've been lusting after one of those for a while but can't afford to buy one... was thinking about making my own and this is pretty inspiring, thanks Smiley

Ahah, exactly to my taste with regards to the cute/ugly thing!  I even love how the patterns on the tops don't match.  Excellent Grin
46  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help identifying new old machine.... on: September 01, 2009 07:49:02 AM
Hahah, I've been sort've having the same problem... until I realised that my machine's brand was the same as a Singer model Sad  Uncooly awkward.

Anyways, I was thinking that you could possibly upload your photos on photobucket or flickr or similar and post the links straight here?  That way you wouldn't be posting photos onto here but you would be posting the links Smiley  Might help...
47  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Dating an old Capr? on: September 01, 2009 07:43:03 AM
Hello Smiley  I've inherited a sewing machine from my grandma, and while it works like a dream, I really want to know how old it is... easier said than done, really!  I've scoured the internet for ages but to be honest, the brand "Capr" just doesn't seem to be coming up (just info about Singer Capris, which it is definately not.  That'd be like calling a donkey a racehorse  Wink).  It's not too old, probably about 20-25 years old, but I'd like a more definate date if anyone can help.  The model number is 167 and the serial number is probably m-91630605... at least, the was the only thing that resembled a serial number that I could find on it.
