1  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Vivi, my first felted anything on: January 04, 2013 09:18:41 AM
I made this little guy for my husband for Christmas. Once I get an idea in my head it won't leave so I had to try.

He is about 4 or 5 inches tall and took me forever. I also had to nurse my fingers for a few days after but my husband and I both love Final Fantasy and his face when I gave it to him was worth all the pain it caused.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / this marc jacobs sweater on: September 21, 2012 02:45:45 PM
Costs $2000. Please help me figure out the stitch.

I am not sure if it like a filet crochet or if they did rows of the silver then went over with the green or maybe there is some color carrying?

Any help will be appreciated!

I went. I had the most wonderful time and bought beautiful roving.

There were tons of people there and it took me almost 2 hours to get there. It was totally worth it but next year I won't bring my mother (she kept asking me every two seconds if whatever piece she saw was knit or crocheted).
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: Best Amigurumi Book? Newbie Help! on: August 10, 2009 12:12:01 PM
Tasty Crochet.

I didn't learn off of it, I recently purchased it but it's written out really really well.

If it's overall questions you have, feel free to pm me with them.
9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Discussion and Questions / Re: A square Amigurumi? on: August 10, 2009 11:19:15 AM
I would suggest 3 things

1. Crochet 2 squares and sew together

2. Crochet a square in the same way as monokuro (inc of 3 on each of the 4 corners) do this until it is as large as you want it then do 1 or 2 rows of working even then immediately start decreasing in the same way you increased

3. Um, I forgot.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / roxycraft! :( on: August 10, 2009 10:50:50 AM
On Friday night I bought the Chilly pattern from Roxycraft. I still have not recieved the pattern. It says everywhere (on the site, in the auto-response email, etc) that I will receive the pattern in 24 hours. It's been 2 1/2 days. I've emailed Roxycraft twice now with no response.

Does anyone know if this is how they normally do buisness?

Could anyone hook me up with the pattern through email? I can provide proof of purchase.

I'm starting to get really upset, I was going to make Chilly for my friends birthday and even if I get the pattern right now I won't have time.

Thanks in advance for your help.
