I made a crocheted bunny beanie for my friends baby. I didn't use a pattern and I am really happy with how it turned out.

This monkey is the second big stuffed toy I have made (for the first check out my kraken)

It was made using corduroy and newspaper for stuffing. A zipper was also included for re-stuffing when the newspaper settles.

All comments, criticism, and suggestions are appreciated.

I  discovered craftsters and a while ago but haven't had anything to post until now. I just finished making this giant kraken for a friends birthday.

Kraken was inspired by the squid character from super mario brothers. My brother came up with the design, made a few sketches and we ran from there. My mum and brother also helped with overlocking, stuffing and hand sewing the parts that were too thick to machine. It took us about 2 days to make.

It was made from 6 meters of furnishing fabric, cost $2 AUD meter. Remnant black satin, white felt, purple dress fabric and newspaper for stuffing. He ended up costing just less than $13 all up.

This is the biggest soft toy I have seen, has anyone seen or made anything bigger?
