31  Beatles treasure box in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Gspinn on: January 17, 2010 07:32:17 AM
I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but I made this box for my fiance for Christmas and wanted to share. I made it by printing out pictures of The Beatles and transferring them to the box and then painting it. I still need to line the Sgt. Peppers side in black.

C&C welcome.

32  My very own Hobbes in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Gspinn on: January 17, 2010 07:27:07 AM
I made Hobbes for my fiance for Christmas and am just now getting around to posting it. It was totally inspired by http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=330848.0. This is the first time I've made anything were I didn't follow a pattern strictly, so even though he is imperfect, I love how Hobbes came out.

Well I finished two blocks today, one castle's end and one willow. I love how they came out. I crocheted them both using an F hook with worsted weight yarn and they came out 7"

I received today from Scifunk here is what I got, it was really dificult to capture how pretty the green silk yarn with glass beads woven in is. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use these yarns. I was thinking the green beaded yarn would make a pretty net for over a lamp shade.
