31  Re: 2010 200 Crochet Blocks CAL in Crochetalongs by Gspinn on: March 30, 2010 04:40:00 AM
Finally posting some pictures

Here are my gothic squares

And some extras
For these I used the 12"  violet crochet square from ravelry and only used the center. I crocheted them with an F hook and they came out 7 incheshttp://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/violet-crochet-square

For these I used the 6-7-8 square, I used an F hook and it came out 7 inches but I did the whole pattern. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/6-7-8-square

I made two daisy chain blocks I love them, I am having so much fun making these blocks. I'm having trouble understanding the pattern for the spider in the barn square.

Here is everything that was in the MYB plus some of the extras, the scarf is my favorite, but I can't wait until bath time to try out that mitt. Yes that is my cat trying to pick up the scarf and carry it away

And a better shot, how great are those stitch markers?! So pretty!

Here is the extra yarns and the awesome dishcloth pattern book

I made another willow and another castle's end. I know they don't really complement each other, but I'm planning on making a bunch of very different blocks over the course of the year. Also I had to do a grey and red one because they are my college colors LOL.

I received from panda on Tuesday, and I love everything. I have always wanted to make a hair scarf and haven't been able to make one I think looks nice.

Cool ribbed hat

Hair scarf, I think my image doesn't do this hair scarf justice

36  Beatles treasure box in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Gspinn on: January 17, 2010 07:32:17 AM
I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but I made this box for my fiance for Christmas and wanted to share. I made it by printing out pictures of The Beatles and transferring them to the box and then painting it. I still need to line the Sgt. Peppers side in black.

C&C welcome.

37  My very own Hobbes in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Gspinn on: January 17, 2010 07:27:07 AM
I made Hobbes for my fiance for Christmas and am just now getting around to posting it. It was totally inspired by http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=330848.0. This is the first time I've made anything were I didn't follow a pattern strictly, so even though he is imperfect, I love how Hobbes came out.

Well I finished two blocks today, one castle's end and one willow. I love how they came out. I crocheted them both using an F hook with worsted weight yarn and they came out 7"

I received today from Scifunk here is what I got, it was really dificult to capture how pretty the green silk yarn with glass beads woven in is. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use these yarns. I was thinking the green beaded yarn would make a pretty net for over a lamp shade.
