I agree with pinokeeo. If you try an unfamiliar recipe, then it could really throw your flavors off. I would make your normal recipe and hold back on spices until you see how the venison's spicing is going to affect it. Then, add in spices slowly until you get what is yummy.
I wish we could buy pre-seasoned venison here. I guess my DH will just have to go hunting soon....darn!
