Brief Bio, News in Your Life, etc:

I am a mother of 2 great kids, a wife of one wonderful husband, a pillow for my cat, and a Spanish teacher of 160 high school students!

I love studying different cultures which is what led me into being a foreign language teacher. Let's see, I'm also an avid reader (fantasy, historical fiction and philosophy), love to play in the kitchen and a black belt in Pil Sung Do martial arts.

Now some real Me details!

Please no knic knacks! I am a very utilitarian sort of gal.

I love autumn colors or jewel tones. I prefer simple over cluttered designs in almost anything. I believe that Less can be More. I don't do pink, lace or sparkly. I love scented goodies but please no rose, lavender or vanilla. Sandalwood and jasmine are my all time favorites. I am Buddhist and love my quiet Me time. I love learning new things and would love a How To kit.

I DON'T WANT/NEED ANYTHING WITH SKULLS ON IT FOR ME PERSONALLY! For my classroom decor, it is fine. (I apologize for that bit of yelling.), allergic to honey, dislike heavy smoke smell, uber girly anything, horror and gore...bleh!, steampunk/vampire/goth anything, kiddy stuff including Disney
