1  Victreebel AAAIIIIIII!!!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kahluita on: June 28, 2011 10:22:42 PM
I've used victreebel in quite a few of my pokemon teams, and being yellow (my favorite color!) i just had to make one of my own. Here is a victreebel I (mostly) crocheted, the rest is felt and some pipe cleaners.

The body is crocheted as well as the rim of the mouth. All the leaves, spots, eyes, and inside of the mouth are made of felt. The leaves and stem also have pipe cleaners so they're posable!

Rear pic:

AAIIIII! I'm so happy with how it came it, especially since i came up with its pattern myself!   Cheesy

i love its teeth  Smiley

I added a little notch in one of the leaves just for fun   Smiley (its kind of hard to see in the pictures though  Tongue )

Thanks for looking!  Grin

2  your itouch is FOR THE HORDE! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kahluita on: January 04, 2011 04:31:35 PM
I have a friend who is really into WoW, and he has an itouch....so I made him a WoW themed itouch case for christmas! I wanted to make it so that it wasn't bulky, so I choose to use felt.

The red symbol is the logo(?) for one of the groups in the game. The symbol is also cut out of felt (which was quite hard! Tongue) and hand sewn on. When I made the case I only had the size specifications from the apple website....so when i cut everything out it looked way to small! but luckily it fit! Grin

I used (what I believe is) blanket stitch all around 3 sides.
(photo of the back)

and he liked it! woo! thanks for looking!  Cheesy

3  Re: Plant cell plush! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kahluita on: September 16, 2010 07:24:44 PM
Thank you all for your wonderful replies!  Cheesy my plant cell feels so loved, hehehe  Grin  by the way, the outer green part of the cell is just one piece cut out of those printer paper sized pieces of felt. Here is my very bad attempt at drawing it...

after i sewed where the arrows indicated, you're left with two holes that you just cover (and don't forget the stuffing!) with the two inside parts of the cell, and voila
