11  Re: One Tiny Book Rd 2 CLOSED (SU 8/22 to 8/29/11, SO 9/19/11) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by imera on: October 18, 2011 01:34:34 PM
After two weeks where my camera didn't work I finally fixed it, only to have problems uploading the images to craftster Tongue
Luckily they are all done and I'm able to show you guys the wonderful book onecrazymom sent me. She chose the theme Halloween, and the book is amazing.

She used a CD cover as the base, it's amazing. Sadly it broke, but even then it's amazing. I love the colours, the swirls, the design, the images, really pretty book.

Finally, after a week with illness, lack of internet, lack of motivation, work and just plain laziness I finally got the pictures of the amazing things Pops sent me.

She decided to me mean and not tell me she would send more than one thing, in fact, she sent 5 different things.

Normally I wouldn't have signed up because I haven't read the books, but decided to do it since my bf loves the books. I have seen the series, but I would like to read the books before I sign up for a swap. So she was crafting for him, and he is more than happy and amazed about the things he received (sent her a pretty long thank-you-note)

So over to the things...
She sent a bookmark, which he uses, a wonderful frame with the house of stark crest, four lovely and funny house magnets, and a tiny pendant for me Cheesy
The most amazing things was the box, she drew a dragon on it! all the details, just wonderful. She also sent a card but I forgot to take a picture of it Sad

Thanks Pops Cheesy amazing partner

I'm ashamed, received the wonderful itmes eight days ago and still haven't uploaded the pictures. It does limit my options of uploading the images when I'm at home since we currently don't have any internet. But here they are...

JillHogan decided to surprise me (altrought it's a wonderful surprise and she said I shoulnd't worry I do feel aweful since she received only the embroidery)

She sent two large pieces of fabric, others might say they are small but for a crafter who loves to make tiny things it's a lot Cheesy
And she also sent me a wonderfulcard Cheesy and a box with some peanutbutter candy, don't have any pictures of that since my bf grabbed the box as soon as he saw it Tongue

And now over to the main item, my tiny item. She sent me a trinket box that looks like the head of Tik Tok. I love the second movie a lot, and Tik Toc is my favourite character.

And it has tiny swirls of lovelyness all around him Cheesy Have no idea what my son did but one of them fell off, will have to glue it on soon Tongue

15  Kokeshi doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by imera on: June 21, 2011 12:10:12 PM
I was partnered up with Ruby Copperhead for the "one tiny stuffie r5" swap, and she wanted different things. After spending a week thinking about what to make her I decided to make something Japanese, since she loves Japan, and it brightens her mood.

After thinking some more I decided to make her a stuffie Kokeshi doll.

The body and head are felted balls that I made, drying them took ages. The hair was difficult, and the curves of the kimono, but as you can see, I managed to overcome the difficulties.

I sewed the whole thing by hand, I also didn't have any iron to straighten the folds. Then I hand sewn the plants on the kimono, sewed the face (the eyes were difficult) and added the wrap around the middle, with the lace. I made all the blue roses myself from ribbon, and stuck two pins with glass beads between the roses.

So here are the pictures, of the front and back

16  Re: I Vant 2 Suck Ur Blood Swap (Sendout 4/25) in The Swap Gallery by imera on: June 21, 2011 11:22:50 AM
I'm so slow at uploading pictures, has taken me over a month to add this Sad  Sorry to my partner but life has not gone slow by this last month.

I got a ghotic swap package from rantyhippie, this is what I got:
- painted True Blood lips
- paintet Lestat (love him)
- two wrist cuffs, one with red gems and the other typical gothic style Cheesy
- a lovely belt with a skull on the front Cheesy sadly it's broken at the jaw, but I can still wear it, but have to be careful not to pull in too tight.

Thank you

17  Re: One Tiny Stuffie Swap--Round 5 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by imera on: June 21, 2011 11:06:51 AM
I am really happy that Ruby Copperhead liked the kokeshi doll, it was a lot of fun to make, as well as a lot of frustration.

I am pretty slow at uploading pictures (may and half the June has been hectic) but here is my lovely stuffie Cheesy

I guess the Snape stuffie was an idea she had during our otHP swap, but I wanted a pygmy puff, not knowing I would get such an awesome Severus Snape stuffie.
The other two mini stuffies are an owl for my son, and a dragon for my fiance, both of them loved their tiny tiny stuffies Cheesy Snape is 12 cm tall, just above 4 1/2"

18  Re: We Still Miss Gilmore Girls Swap r3 (send out June 8) in The Swap Gallery by imera on: June 19, 2011 06:34:51 AM
Well, life is pretty hectic sometimes, at least I'm finally able to upload my lovely items from sarahbug.
I got a wonderful mug, BIG as well Cheesy where she wrote in lovely neon pink 'I <3 Gilmore Girls' on one side, 'I'd rather be in Stars Hallows' on the back, and 'all you gotta do is call my name...and I'll be there' on the top Cheesy
She also sent me a travel mug so I could bring my coffee along with me, two potholders, which are perfect for my iron casserole Cheesy ANd a dishtowel with a dragonfly.
I also got some cookie dough bites, I think you all know their destiny Tongue

She was also kind to make me some accessories Cheesy a lovely rosette necklace and a pair of cute earrings, both been work

Can't wait to see what everybody else received

There are so many wonderful things here Cheesy but I still love my item Cheesy

I had just one request, a pigmypuff, and I got it! Thanks Ruby Copperhead!

I love Severus Snape, so she made me a green, and gold, Pygmy Puff. It has two of the cutest legs Cheesy

And the big Pygmy puff had friends, one small key chain puff and one sleeping puff, didn't know they hide their faces when they sleep. And because I love Slytherin so much, even if I'm a Ravenclaw, she added a small garland in Slytherin colours Cheesy

She also added a Severus Snape poster and a few smaller pictures of him Cheesy and some candy I will share with my family. Love all my things.

I got my stuffie the day I left for a long read trip, the stuffie was so great that it cheered up the long and lonely trip.

So here he is, the wonderful and cute green monster. This is my first monster stuffie, and hopefully it won't be the last. Thanks FinRaziel, it's such a lovely monster, and a wonderful swap.
