1  MASTER CRAFTSTERS / BERNINA 3 Series / Re: Yehaw! Heirloom Cowgirl Pillow using the BERNINA 330 on: May 15, 2012 05:48:09 PM
How did you sew the picture fabric into its frame?  Did you just sew around the back of the picture onto the triangles?

Oh my word, all three of mine need these.  I hope I can do it as well as you did.  CUTE!

This is so cute!  I love the pretty colors and the pattern is great.  Awesome job! Grin
4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Customizing my baby's bib-SWEAR WORD WARNING on: April 13, 2012 11:16:49 AM
I've heard about it but would really like a copy.  I have already uttered such a phrase under my breath.  Smiley  I'm being silly of course, I feel the need to type a disclaimer stating that I do not swear at my infant.  Lol, but there are times when I do think "please go the F to sleep!  You need a nap and so do I!"

Please do make your own versions!  I think it would be great to start a subversive baby photo pool here or on Flickr.  Smiley  Haha and thanks for the comments, I appreciate them.

Awww I love this!  I often refer to the dogs as our baby's "brothers."   Cheesy
7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Customizing my baby's bib-SWEAR WORD WARNING on: April 12, 2012 12:38:40 PM
I lost my mojo during my pregnancy.  Luckily during that time I was able to make a few fun pieces for the nursery.  It was the first time in a long time that I've done "cute" work.  Well now I"m back to my old self.

Baby stuff is so cute.  I mean, sugar sweet cute, as it should be!  I might be a little biased but I think my little girl is awfully adorable and so much of her clothing and accessories are very sweet.  But some days I think to myself, this kid is going to get tired of me and my craziness and say "F*ck it, I'm outta here."  I was going to do up a whole bib on my own and then remembered we already have something around that house that I could just add to a bit.  So here it is!

Don't worry, as soon as she starts to read, we'll pack it away.  I look forward to the day when I can give this to her, when she's all grown up.

9  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Latest piece in my art therapy-miscarriage depicted on: January 31, 2011 08:34:26 AM
Thank you.  When I did this piece, I had no idea that anyone else would be able to connect with it.  It was done to cleanse my soul and ease my grief.  I'm glad that in my attempts to help myself, I ended up helping others.  Perhaps everything does happen for a reason?
