Very nice. The green does work (as anyone who would recognize Gir will recognize him regardless), but I agree that a slightly brighter green would be closer.
Be sure to put up the rest when they're done! My husband and I are always quoting Gir, and I'd love to see what else you're doing. (As would he, he liked this very much as well)

These look great!! It's too funny though, I just bought an absurdly short jean skirt at the thrift store for this very purpose! Haven't made it yet though.
The one skirt I made completely, the worst part was indeed the waistband and zipper, so I decided to cheat this time around
