1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Pants Pattern Suggestions Please on: February 06, 2010 11:46:07 AM
Hi Everyone! I am looking for a pull on drop waist style pants pattern. I don't want to have to use a zipper. Just a simple yoke with pants that flare slighty. If that makes any sense. Thanks for any help.

Thank you all so much! This is the start of trying to make a few $$ and still stay home with the kiddos(we have 5). I sew while they are at school and after they go to bed. It's awesome to be able mix my love if sewing into my daily routine!

I have been on a huge sewing/creating kick!! I am starting to even steer away from store bought patterns and creating my own. Hope you enjoy!

This is a hooded dress that is my own pattern. It zips down the front and has a lined hood.

The is a black and white polka dot skirt with netting.

This is a grey pencil skirt with a red cross appliqued on the side.

I love this one! It is the same style skirt as the polka dot one but a bit shorter. It is black with red metallic hearts!!

Hope you enjoy! C &C Welcome!
BTW Yes I am a bit crazy standing outside in the snow taking pics. Hubby is a photographer and wanted to take some shots!

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Doll Poem. Anyone know any good ones? on: December 14, 2009 03:33:35 PM
I am making my 5 kids little plush dolls (possibly bears etc) and want to attached a cute little poem to it. Something along the lines of always being there to listen and give hugs whenever needed. If you know of anything like this I would greatly appreciate it!
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / I went from sunshine to rocker chick on: November 23, 2009 01:49:55 PM
When I married my husband in July I had long blonde hair and my nickname was Sunshine. Hubby is bald and got tattoos and a definete rocker. Well his style has rubbed off on me. I cut 12 inches off my hair dyed it black with red chunky highlights got a major tattoo on my chest, pierced my eyebrow and changed my clothing style. Here are a few recons I made to match my new style. Hope you enjoy them!

The first is a blue rock n roll never dies top that was a little boys tee. I added part of a grey tee and navy rib knit. The halter pieces are the guitars that went down the sleeves of the tee before recon.

The second was also a little boys tee. It is a grey paint splattered tee with a skull. I made it into a halter neck, added eyelet lace to the sides and put elastic in the back to cinch it in! This is a definete fav!!!
