Hi everyone.  This is something I have been working on and its finally finished.  Comments are welcomed.

This is the latest handbag.  The red fabric looks like dragon scales to me which fits perfectly with the theme, in my opinion.  I used black canvas for the handles and inner fabric and don't you just love the middle panel fabric of the young girls.  This is one of my favorite fabrics.

I just finished this bag today.  With this heat, there is nothing to do but stay indoors and sew.  It's too hot just like this new handbag.   What do you all think.

This is a new handbag.  I found this great vintage fabric with square panels of different designs.  I love it this fabric.  Tell me what you think.

I tried it! it is my first bag.  I had such a hard time attaching the handles to the bag and after putting the interfacing, sewing and turning it around, my handle would not fold propertly.  I guess I still have so much to learn on the proper way to sew.  So if anyone has any tips to make it easier next time, please let me know.  But I am very glad I finished it.  Its not perfect like the original but I am happy that I did it all myself.

I FOUND THIS RIBBON (I GUESS YOU COULD CALL IT THAT CAUSE IT IS MUCH MORE HEAVY THEN THE RIBBON I HAVE SEEN)  AND APPLIQUES AT THE THRIFT STORE FOR $1.80.  I AM NEW TO SEWING SO I DONT REALLY HAVE MANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO DO WITH IT.  I POSTED THIS HERE CAUSE THE ONLY THING I COULD THINK OF IS USING IT AS PURSE STRAPS BUT DONT KNOW.  THEY SEEM TO WIDE FOR BELTS.  SO PLEASE ANY SUGGESTION EVEN IF THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH PURSES, WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
