1  Re: DECEMBER Birthday Swap in The Swap Gallery by addictd2rachyp00 on: January 14, 2010 12:24:47 PM
I just recieved from lovesclutter! Literally like 20 minutes ago. As soon as I got it I wanted to run and show it off. I even woke up my mom from her nap, she said it was lovely. =]
She sent me a tote for my crochet stuff, the fabric is gorgeous, and it totally suits me.
Without further ado:

Aready with my things in it!

A close up of the buttons where the handles are.

A close up of the fabric.
Its more blue, like the picture of the button. I don't know why my camera wouldn't cooperate.

Thank you soo much lovesclutter. You are AWESOME!

2  Product of a Snowy Day, Alice in Wonderland style (pic heavy) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by addictd2rachyp00 on: January 07, 2010 09:00:22 PM
So my sister is redecorating her room in Alice in Wonderland and since today we got completely snowed in (5 inches=too much for me!) I decided to paint her a little something. It's probably one of my best pieces, if I do say so myself.

5  tree paintings. =] in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by addictd2rachyp00 on: October 22, 2009 06:23:31 PM
So, here it is. The first is supposed to be kind of like a weeping willow, and I used metallic acrylics.
The second is an autumn tree in watercolors. I dont really like how the second turned out, which really dissapoints me since watercolors are usually my bffl.

Both are done on newspaper scrap. I may go over the watercolor sometime this weekend and try to fix it.

What do you think?
C&C always welcome, help me improve.

7  beginners stuff. in Needlework: Completed Projects by addictd2rachyp00 on: October 18, 2009 06:31:17 PM
So embroidery is probably my favorite medium, but I am just starting out and don't know the stitched and all that very well, but I thought I'd post some stuff I did recently anyways. =]
The first is a tree I found and the second is a close up of a really big octopus.
I am obsessed with trees! I paint them, stitch them, draw them.
I even have the tree of life tattooed on my shoulder blade.
Right now I'm stitching a baby zombie, and its coming along nicely. I'll post pics when its complete.

I am a creative writing/art education double major in college and I really wanted to combine my two favorite things, art and poetry. What do you think?
It is an emily Dickenson poem.
My favorite poem, ever.

9  Transformer pumpkin! in Halloween Decor and Parties by addictd2rachyp00 on: October 18, 2009 03:09:32 PM
So this is the first pumpkin Ive ever carved, and I absolutely LOVE what i did with it! =]
I just found the autobots/decepticons symbols online, traced them, then fixed it so there werent any floating holes in them, then cut out the design and used sharpie to put it on my pumpkin.
I'm very proud of my first pumpkin ever.
