Ta-ta-da-ta-daa, the tute!
Pick a fabric. Light colors work better.
Cut your fabric, you'll need 2 pieces. 40 cm x 50 cm and 40 cm x 70 cm.
On the 40 cm side, on both pieces measure 2 cm (2/4 inch) fold once 1 cm and once 2 to the wrong side. Pin and sew aprox 1,5 cm from the edge.
Lay your pieces flat, right sides facing. Pin them together from the bottom and edges.
Fold the "left over" 20 cm of longer piece to the back so that the top of both pieces are equally long. Pin.
Sew the pieces together from bottom and sides.
It should look like this.
1. Transparent acrylic lacquer (water-thinnable)
2. A picture.
3. A paintbrush
Take a black and white copy of the picture of your choise. If it has text remember to make it a MIRROR REFLECTION (I didn't)
Cut the picture, apply a thin coat of lacquer onto the picture with the brush. Put the picture tightly to the right side of the pillowcase (lacquer side against the fabric). Cover the picture with a piece of fabric, leftovers if you have will work best. Iron with three dots (cotton ironing degree, no steam or water!) for 1 minute. You have to press the iron tightly to the fabric.
When you done that, just pour some water over the paper and peel it of. Be gentle otherwise the picture comes of as well.. and we don't want that, do we? (well, if you happend to put the picture the wrong way, this is your best chance to get it off)
And you're done!
Handwash only! Don't rub the picture unless you want it to peel of.
Sorry 'bout the language. My english is shitty, mostly learned from the Simpsons. (well, I'm blilingual, I speak fluid swedish, but my writing is far more shitty than this!) And I'm very tired and just now I don't care
If you have any questions or comments or what ever, please call someone who cares. Naah... just kidding I'd be happy to answer and help, if I can.
