I love the colors. The pattern did indeed come out very interesting. I think I may now have to try one. Did you use two skeins of yarn?

thanks...I only used one skein...they have over 200 yards in them, and I can wrap it once around my neck, and it's still long enough...

I used the pattern from here www.sheepinthecity.prettyposies.com/archives/000079.html and a lovely hand dyed yarn from handpaintedyarn.com!  The dying is random, but ended up making almost an argyle pattern!

I really loved this pattern and can recommend it because:
  • you knit the whole thing in one piece...no seaming!
  • the cables are easy--I'm very new to cables and found them easy to do.
  • the pattern is easy to follow once you get going.  And tons of people have already knit it, so there's lots of help on blogs
  • I think it's a great cardigan hoodie pattern and it's free!
I used pagoda from handpaintedyarn.com and love the color variations!  Wink

I LOVE how soft their yarn is...usuallly, I can't wear wool right next to my skin, but I can with their merino.  Here's a scarf I made out of the carrot!  I really love the uneven color and it's so soft...I made it all out of one skein, which made it cheap too!  I can't say enough good things about their yarn!  Smiley
