I agree with the prevous poster about the header, it needs a little fine tuning. But I have to say, that I really love your pictures. Pictures are eye candy for customers and you have done a great job there. Also, your jewelry is very nice! I actually caught myself saying, "Oooh, I need that!".
Holiday craft shows are usually the busiest of the year, so it's a great time to go. I always really enjoy the atmosphere at Christmas shows, it really gets you in the Christmas spirit with all the decor and people buying Christmas gifts. If you are nervous, I would definitely recommend going with your Nana. I actually prefer to have two people to a booth at busy shows, because it allows you to deal with multiple customers at the same time, and possibly increase your sales.
I have never been a vendor at the Portland Saturday Market, but when I lived in Oregon I used to love visiting the Saturday Market, it always seems very busy and lively and it seemed like the vendors were actually making sales. I have considered selling my candles there when we move back, and as I understand it they have a very long season (open March to December) which is awesome for Portland, and you can setup a semi permanent display which makes it nice.
I will definitely have to try this. I've been looking for a natural alternative to regular antiperspirant deodorant because of all the horror stories I've heard of it causing cancer. Thanks for the recipe!
The only time I have used lighting is for outdoor evening shows or dimly lit indoor shows. I've been lucky enough that these types of shows have always offered electricity, so I used the metal clamp type lights. Im not sure what I would do if there wasn't any electricity.
