[SECOND]

I had my first craft show in August. I did pretty good that day.  My SECOND show, however (this past Saturday) was AWFUL. Trying to stay positive but, honestly, wondering if maybe I'm the only person who's diggin' what I've made??

Anyone have any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism/advice?

Yes, it's going to be my first booth. I'm excited....it'll be great if I have some interested people that day but, either way, I'm going to try to have a lot of fun! I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

I recently started making different types of jewelry....just haven't put them on Etsy, though. Waiting to see how well the first things I made and posted there go, first. Etsy is a GREAT site and so fun to browse. As a seller, I'm wondering how visible you/we are. There are so many items posted/for sale. I think the best (first) step is to direct traffic to your online shop (I'm hoping this upcoming craft show will help with that?).

At the end of the day, I can say I gave it a good shot! That's for sure! Fingers crossed!!

ugh. Well, now I'm all kinds of confused!

Someone recommended showing it on a person....someone suggests otherwise. Hmmm...any suggestions? Would it be too ridiculous to add a statement in my description of that necklace, to let the potential buyer know that this is just and EXAMPLE of one necklace I have made and that the one they would receive would be new and never worn?

It's my first attempt. I'm selling necklaces, rings, magnets and keyrings. Since creating these items, I've learned so much more and have all sorts of ideas I plan to try very soon!

Your shop looks great! Have you had much luck selling online? I have received the green light from a local craft festival...I have been assigned a booth! Hoping I'll get some traffic that day. *fingers crossed*

I appreciate the compliment regarding the banner and profile pic! I considered making them both images of my items but, decided against it.

I hadn't even considered my Profile. So glad you said something! I'm definitely taking your suggestion, too, about teams and treasuries. *This is all so new to me I really need to dig in and learn more about those options on Etsy.

Good idea (again) on shooting the necklaces at various angles. (This should have been the most obvious to me! I got so caught up in the process of setting up shop, I hadn't even considered the shopper possibly needing to see the item from another angle).
WHEW! I've got some work ahead of me!

I just created a shop on Etsy. It's my first attempt .... my first step.
I've had *some* luck with friends but find it VERY hard to get sales online. I've sent an app for an upcoming, local craft show. Hoping I'll have some luck there! *Otherwise, I'm going to string all my stuff together and make one giant windchime?!

Anyone have any suggestions, tips or ideas on what I've created?? Thank you!
