Long time lurker, first time poster. I just got my first sewing machine, and I really wanted to make something. I remembered the home ec kids all making pj pants in jr high so I thought I might as well try. These took about an hour to make. I know they are nothing special and actually pretty badly done, but I'm proud of myself so please bear with me. Ignore the dates, they are incorrect.
I have had these pjs since 2002, they were icky and old and way stretched out so they needed chunked anyways. Thought I could use them as a pattern. I ripped all the seams, then pinned them to my fabric and traced.
This is before the elastic. AW, CLOVERS! I am a very modest person, so these are knee length and pretty baggy for movement, as this material had no stretch and I have a a booty, hips, and thighs.
The legs are together a bit here, so they look very short and wide, compared to what they are. I did have a glitch (no surprise) so they are slightly.... off. Not too upset, this is a trial and error kinda thing
