Well, I was just experimenting and just so happened to have my super skinny friend over and I made these:


This one I put grommets down the back and laced ribbon through it and I added some black ric rac to the bottom edge


This one I used some bigger brass grommets and made some small ties out of the edge I cut off the pillow case.

I really am not a very good seamstress, some of the edges are really crooked, but I think it turned out pretty good. Gonna try and make one for myself tonight!

OK - I am really a terrible seamstress, I get super excited about sewing something and stuff rarely turns out how I envision it, but I had this box full of vintage sheets and pillow cases, the sewing machine has been sitting out on the table for 2 weeks (from when I fixed my sons shirt) I finally said "f*ck it, im gonna sew something". So for my baby girl (OK she's 5, not a baby anymore), I made her this one


Very simple, even I knew I could handle this, just cut the closed end of the pillow case off as long as she wanted it, sewed a seem at the top, ran elasctic, sewed shut (of course I had to buy her a new shirt to go with it)
For her sister I made this one:

(I made a matching hair scarf too, just didnt get a pic) same thing, just fitted the elastic a different size

Then for me I made this one:


ignore my fattiness, I think my inner hippie is starting to come out (plan on wearing it to see the String Cheese Incident next month)
and then I whiped up this one:

I even did so good and sewed some rick-rack around the bottom edge.

I recently aquired 4 garbage bags FULL of scrap fabric, I had to do something with some of it or my fiance was going to freak out, so I made this:


It takes more time to tear and attach the fabric strips together than it does to actually crochet it, but I am happy with how it turned out!

Well, I kinda just made a few of these as a joke and on a whim I put them up at this little shop I sell some of my stuff at. Here they are, crocheted boobies!

They were such a big hit, people were buying them for dirty santa gifts, the drunks at the bar next door to the shop all came in and bought some, cause you know who doesnt love BOOBS!

Also gave a goof up one to my dog and he LOVES it!

I hope that makes sense, I am terrible at writing patterns (I make it up as I was going along and in my head this all makes sense, but not everyone may get it)

G Hook
small amount of "nipple" pink
small amount of "aerole" brown
off white
(I used "I love this yarn" from hobby lobby just because I love that yarn,lol)
poly fill stuffing

R1 with pink - magic circle 4 sc in loop, sl to first sc
R2 - 1 sc in each , sl to connect
R3 - repeat round 2
(now of course you can modify the nipples to be as long or short as you want)
R4 - (switch to brown) 2 sc in each sc, (8 sc)
R5 - 2 dc in each sc (16dc)
(again your aeroles can be as wide or thin as you desire)
At this point I turned the nipple inside out, for some reason it just looks better, also this is a good spot to tie off and weave in the ends of those two colors
R6 - (switch to off white), 2dc in first dc, 1 sc in next, repeat (24 dc)
R7 -2dc in first dc, 1 dc in next 2 dc, repeat (32 dc)
R8- 1 dc in first 3 dc, 2 dc in next, repeat (40 dc)
R9-10 1 dc in each dc (40 dc)
R11 - 1 dc in first 3 dc, decrease (dc 2 together). repeat (32 dc)
R12 - 1 dc in first 2 dc, decrease (dc 2 together, repeat (24 dc)
(here is a good spot to stuff about half way full, the firmness is all a matter of opinion, some like firmer boobies, some like softer (I also thought of putting a squeaker in, havent found any yet ,lol)
R13 - 1 dc in first dc, decrease (2 dc together), repeat (16 dc)
Finish stuffing as full as you want
R14 - DC 2 together (16 dc)
R15 - SC 2 together (8 sc), I did singles because I just thought it look neater

Use a yarn needle and weave in and out around the stitches and pull tight to close

This pattern should make a pretty good size "C" cup boob and the rows can easily be increased or decreased to adjust the size!

I have had a lot of ideas of how to spice up the boobies, nipple rings, tattoos, pasties, etc!

So I am normally a crocheter, but after all the crocheting I did for christmas, needless to say I am a little worn out, so I decided to take a break and make something else and I came up with these:

They are all framed in thrift store frames I spray painted and then I used felt flowers I cut out with the sizzix (and the skull) and just kinda free formed them onto some scrap fabric. I am going to hang them as a grouping somewhere in my house.

I am really happy with how it turned out, I am going to look for a nice thick rustic looking wood frame for it

I have a TON of old, cheap arylic yarn (like from the 70's that someone gave me), really this stuff is so weird and plasticy feeling, you really cant make anything wearable from it. But it works great for useful items like this ipad sleeve:



I love the colors of this old yarn, it also has a really nice stretch to it, makes for great coozies of all types. (I have also made some can coozies and lighter covers, no pics, but I will make some more and take pics)

Well, after seeing the over flowing recyle bin filled with empty Natty light cans, I said to myself "there has go to be something I can do with these". Well, I little brainstorming I figured out that I can use my handy-dandy old fashioned sizzix and cut out shapes. So I cut out a bunch of different size flowers and layered them and pinned them down with floral pins to a straw wreath. My fiance loved that I could incorporate my love of crafting with his love of crappy cheap beer, so here it is:

My fiance and I have developed a recent interest in viking, nordic history and naturally runestones come along with that. I thought what a great idea if would be to embroider and frame a series of different stones from around scandanavia, so here is what I started:


and here is the picture I used for the design, I blew it up and just traced it onto some muslin (I thought it would look more rustic that way), I am really not sure what I am going to do with it when I am done, probably just frame it, or I am thinking a pillow.
