I've finished mine, I just need to get the buttonholes made (I don't trust myself making them)

I used the Built by Wendy coat pattern 3966 - but I sort of wish I hadn't - there's just not enough shaping in it - I think it's look better with some princess seams or something in the front, it's pretty boxy. But I'm in love with the collar!

I used a really nice pinkish/brownish wool with a giant plaid pattern on it in green & brown. I'll post as soon as I get the buttons done.

Ooh, I'd love to see pictures. Thats my next project Smiley

The easiest way I can describe a raglan sleeve is to think of a baseball style shirt.  Like this:



Set in sleeves look like the sleeves on a regular tshirt.  The seam goes around your shoulder/arm joint.

Make sense?  Clear as mud?

It makes sense and now I see the difference!

I think a craftalong may help you out more because if you get stuck someone else who is at the same place and post a mini tut or explain it to you...Plus it's fun to see everyones results...*digs up some houndstooth fabric* I've never tried lining a jacket before so some of it will be completely new to me as well...
