1  Re: Victoriana Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by tantrum on: July 21, 2008 08:53:06 AM
I wanted to post some (slightly fuzzy) action shots of the gloves antarcticraft made!

Pretty sweet right?
Anarcticraft, I'm glad you got your package. I didn't get any photos as I was having camera problems and wanted to get the package in the mail. I'll just wait for you to take photos.

Action Shots!

They are just a tad snug on me. We must be very different sized people! And also I have big hands. Thank you again antarcticraft!

3  Knit 1 beaded helmet. in Knitting: Completed Projects by tantrum on: March 30, 2008 08:57:00 PM
This hat will be part of a space girl outfit. I'm working on the bikini now. I'm also planning on making a matching beaded holster for my zap-zap ray gun.

There are like 1100 acrylic pony beads!

It's the first non-scarf knitting project I've finished. It's actually the reason I started knitting. I kind of love it. What do you think?

4  another mini top hat. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by tantrum on: August 05, 2007 06:51:39 PM
so i joined the club and made a mini top hat, modeled here by an annoyed looking Audio cat. It's my first one, so it's a little wonky but overall I'm pleased.

6  help with mantle/headboard? in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by tantrum on: November 01, 2006 05:32:28 PM
I have this old mantlepiece from my grandfathers house. I've stripped it and i think it would be cool as a headboard for our bed. I'd like some opinions on what to do with it. I'd like to lighten the color- you can't stain things white can you? Maybe a crackle off white paint. What do you all think?

as you can see my bedspread is red, it would be nice if the mantle complimented it as well.

8  snake charmer in Stenciling: Completed Projects by tantrum on: February 15, 2006 01:29:09 PM
I made this for the side show swap. My partners recieved so i can post this now.

It's the first time i tried a bleach stencil and was pretty impressed with the results.

I painted the details of the face and hair with acrylics after.
