21  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / No trouble with this tribble on: September 22, 2011 12:24:49 PM
This was a simple project that I whipped up in one night. It's made from yarn I had leftover from another project. I think it will fit right in with my growing "crocheted geeky things collection"!

Btw, for those of you who don't know what a tribble is, it's a furry little creature from Star Trek (the original series) that is born pregnant and because of that multiplies very quickly. I included some videos from the episode on my blog (link at the end of the post)

And one more, to be super geeky:

Yep, I'm wearing my boyfriend's boot camp glasses. Classy Wink

If you really wanted to repeat this project, all you do is start with a circle, crochet and increase around until you get the size you want, crochet a couple of rows without increases, and then decrease to your hearts content.

In addition: fun fur yarn is hard to work with, and I hate it!!!!  Angry

But I loooooove my little tribble!  Cheesy

You can read more about this project on my blog: http://craftycamolover.blogspot.com/2011/09/no-trouble-with-this-tribble.html

Thanks for reading! <3

I think you did a great job for a first attempt! Smiley I really like the color you used. The subject matter, I think, will distract from any possibly flaws, lol. I certainly can't see any, but then again I'm not a sculptor. What I will say is that I would totally wear this Smiley
